"I picked Artistic Landscape by reviewing Angie's List for Landscaping providers. I had identified five companies that I was interested in, with Artistic Landscape being my first choice. I ended up only contacting Artistic Landscape.  I was looking for a small company who would be able to provide design work and the installation services. Chris Baker (owner) came over four about an hour and listened to what we were looking for.  Instead of sending us a quote, he came back two weeks later with a CAD drawing and presented us a design for our review. We discussed different stone (for the sitting wall) and different pavers for the patio/sidewalk.  We had the option to change things up if we wanted to.  After choosing Artistic Landscape, Chris came back again to show us actual samples of stone and pavers to finalize our design. 
The implementation went smoothly. It took them about 4.5 days to get the work done.  Chris had two guys doing landscaping and two guys doing pavers and stone walls. Chris was also here most of the time working with them as well.  In addition, Chris had my six year old in the bobcat (technically a compact track loader) for 10 minutes while he was loading up the dump truck on the second day.  
Chris was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.  We would gladly use him again and recommend him to friends/neighbors.

Since Trilite was the manufacturer and the installer in my project, I was able to choose from a myriad of stone and colors. "I'm long overdue to write this review, but we hired King Scapes last summer to complete an extensive project to replace a rotten timber retaining wall, replace it with stone, and build a new stone patio with fire pit in our back yard. Even before that, we had met with Don to discuss our broader vision for our yard and he created a three-phase plan (this was phase two) that we could complete as it made logistic and financial sense for us. We were extremely impressed with the professionalism and the quality of work that was completed. They always kept us up to date on what was happening and asked us whenever a decision needed to be made. This ensured we were happy with the finished product. The project was burdened by lousy weather, and they never complained nor did they cut corners to get the job done faster. The work wasn't cheap but that's the nature of the project we embarked upon. We just wanted it done right. I would highly recommend King Scapes."

"This spring we were in search of a company to pour a concrete patio as we were removing our old floating deck. We came across Clark Companies at the White Bear Home Show @ The Hippodrome. They followed up promptly afterwards and set a time to come out for a quote. They answered all our questions and helped us envision what it could look like. They were the only company we had out that actually cared (the others you probably hear advertised all the time).
