"A Cut Above many other Contractors! We had needed brick pointing done on our home for a few years. We are also in the middle of a renovation project for our game room and that included the installation of a sliding glass door where a window was. The door install required that a steel lintel be moved up to accommodate the height of the new door. We were very fortunate that we called Michener Chimney and Masonry to come and have a look. "We had a chimney that was dropping stones onto our deck. It was starting to lean and the cracks in the mortar were obvious and scary. Clarke came out (on time for the appointment), looked at the chimney and told me that he could repair it. Furthermore, without me asking, he walked around the house and saw many areas where the mortar was cracked or came out (the house is 25 years old). He told me that his crew could repair the whole house. Well, they came out when promised, set up the scaffolding and repaired everything except badly damaged mortar behind my garden, to which they couldn't get access without damaging all the plants. He promised to finish the repairs when the garden was depleted and, good to his word, he has called and a repair will be set up. Clarke is a great guy, his team is professional and I would highly recommend them for any job within their abilities."

"I have a house from the 50's that had worn, discolored, and cracked mortar everywhere, Some bricks has even fallen off the chimney. J.R. came out and gave me an estimate and he got me on his calendar. James the owner does most of the work himself which is nice. He grinded down a layer of the old mortar and replaced it with new mortar around my entire house, he also repaired my damaged chimney and acid washed the entire house. When he was done it looked like new construction because all the new mortar surrounded the brick with nice, fresh crisp lines."

Its removal resulted in a large through and through hole which went through the wall and the brick. Joseph Little and Home Improvement did the necessary brick mason work which definitely closed my wall on the inside and outside. I was thoroughly pleased."
