"Sal and his crew did a lot of work for us last year - paver walkways, patio, and raised deck. He was great, quick, reasonable and we were thrilled with the work. We’ve gotten lots of compliments on the yard since then. We had a pool added on to the paver deck since then and when we reopened the pool this year we noticed that the pavers had sunken in a bit in the middle. I waited all summer to call Sal about it because I was afraid of the hassle I was sure it would be to get it fixed. I emailed Sal this week and he called me within 24 hours. He came that day to look at it and within another 24 hours, he and his crew had repaved the whole deck. No questions and no charge. He also replaced two stones that we had damaged, as a courtesy. "Martinez Brick came the following day to inspect my “3 sidewalk squares” for replacement. He told me the 4th one should also be replaced, as it was elevated. He gave me a price for 4 squares that was less than a competitors price for 3. Then he said that he would cut $400 off if I could do it “this Saturday”, a date at his convenience because he had a job close by. I said “great!” It rained Saturday and he couldn’t pour cement in the rain. He said “I’ll be there Tuesday”, and I’m honoring the discounted price. Okay. Monday night he called and said he will come Wednesday for sure because he doesn’t want his workers pouring cement in 98 degree heat! I like a boss who cares about his employees. He came on Wednesday and did a PERFECT job!"

"We hired Advanced to rip up our old driveway, and put in an expanded asphalt driveway. We also needed a new walkway as the old red bricks were uneven and posed a tripping hazard. James worked with me to ensure the shape of the expanded driveway was exactly what we wanted. The team worked very fast and James was on site throughout the project. Further working with us, they ensured the walkway end was flush with the driveway (avoiding another previous tripping hazard), and worked with me to lay pipe underneath the new walkway so I could extend our in-ground sprinklers and have the option to add electrical. The team put string through and planted flags in the ground marking the ends of the pipes. They even redid the pavers of our front stoop including cutting out and regrouting. Everything looked so great that we hired James 9 months later to come back and install two quarter-circle sitting walls at the ends of our driveway. They even relocated the plants for us.
