The work included excavating and leveling the site, pouring and re-enforcing the slab, and selecting and purchasing the stone, brick and other materials. In addition to the patio, Mottern also filled in an approx. 12 sq/ft section of brick wall where a door had been converted to a window. The guy came out, explained whatever they would be doing, he gave me a drawing of what it was, and he gave me an estimate for both concrete, and flat stone, and explained the difference between the two and the advantages of each of them. Their price was higher than the other one."
