"Scope of project: 1) reset/regrade pavers stones in front walkway and back patio area that were displaced by new driveway and trenches, 2) install drain in low spot connecting to an existing drain, 3) demo a platform of pavers next to the garage to make even with the rest of the patio. I had a wonderful experience hiring Jose with Luna Masonry from beginning to end. I chose him over other bids because he seemed very knowledgeable, easy to communicate with, and well versed in the scope of my project. His estimate also seemed like a fair fee. Jose and crew were able to schedule right away and completed my project in a timely fashion. The end result was very impressive and they cleaned up the work area well. "When everyone is doing the work, they are prompt, but when you have problems, they are never around. When I spoke to the company's representative we agreed on bark chips, so I assumed bark chips were being used, but instead they came and sprayed bark DUST!!! They didn't tell me it was going to be bark DUST!

When they were spraying the ground with it, they notified the tenants, but one tenant wasn't home so bark dust ended up inside the unit and I ended up paying for that unit to be cleaned as a result. Because there are only a few chips and mostly dust, it has blown everywhere and doesn't look very good. I asked if they layed UNDERLAYMENT under the chips so we wouldn't have weeds but he said it wasn't necessary. Now I PAY MORE for someone to come and REMOVE the WEEDS and spray to prevent weeds than I would for someone to just come and mow the lawn!!! This requires a lot more maintenance than I expected, which defeats the purpose of the zieri landscaping. If they FIX the problem I would use them again and change my report. I just want what's FAIR.

* * * * * * * * UPDATE 3/5/2011 I phoned ProScape after reading their response to my Angie'slist report. Currently we are trying to workout a solution to our communication problem and how that has affected my property landscape. They have been somewhat helpful with coming to meet with me and see the condition of the landscape. However, anything to IMPROVE the condition of what was already done will COST ME and in this economy, I'm not in a position to pay AGAIN for something that SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME.

After paying a "Professional Landscaping company" $4,000 to landscape your FRONT YARD, you would HOPE for better service and RESULTS! Although I hired ProScape to do this job years ago, every year I regret having hired them because the landscape is a constant eye-sore! :(
