"I have used Mason Works on a previous project in 2017 (new stone wall and front step repair) and was very happy with their work. This project was to replace driveway including matching previous stone wall, add granite curbing to right side and complete replacement of existing asphalt. Stone wall is great, granite curbing is great but does not fully match in size or color (they explained that this is typical when ordering granite) and driveway really is just OK. They use a more course asphalt mi than you'd typically see and they explained that it lasts longer. My issues with driveway: • Driveway not evenly smooth, quite a few rougher spots • Section on side of driveway that you can see it's not evenly rolled • They said to wait 5 days to park on it and I waited 3 weeks instead but there are several tire marks already from parking on it"

They worked carefully to remove the chimney brick by brick and placed a lovely stone cap on the remaining five feet. The large metal chimney was removed without incident. The gas fireplace insert needed to be cut out so as to preserve the brick encasing the fireplace and the wood mantel. Jim then expertly installed the electric fireplace, doing a beautiful job both solidly securing the new fireplace and making sure the presentation of the fireplace was perfect!
