"The project went very well"

"On my shared driveway I noticed the concrete culvert was beginning to erode and shift. The crew came when scheduled to repair the culvert. The drainage area needed to be reshaped and have stone added to help with erosion issues. A cement footing was created to help hold up the concrete tubes and than concrete was packed in around the tubes help hold them in place. The job took several days to complete. I am very satisfied with the overall work. There was a lot of work put in to make the finished job look good and it does look good. I am giving a B for quality because the trucks they parked on my yard left large ruts in my yard. I watched the workers kick leaves over the ruts to hide them. When I complained they sent some one back to fix the ruts. That some one came back and with his foot kicked the top of ruts off, jumped back in the truck and left. I still have ruts that I will fix with my shovel and rake in spring. Such a shame. I will defiantly use them again in the future."

"I wanted to replace an old concrete slab outback so I hired this company to do pavers in my backyard. What started out as a small patio project turned into a much bigger project when I saw how amazing their work is. I had a giant patio done with a sitting wall and built-in fire pit. They started first thing in the morning and worked during long hot days until the project was finished. This company is busy so I recommend getting on the books! Theyâ re busy for a reason!!! "The two men that worked on my rain garden were the hardest working men I have ever seen. Hand shoveled a large area of clay dirt with LOTS of roots, Stone debri, metal and such. They had to wheel barrow the debri to front of the house then shovel it into the truck. Truly amazing these guys were. And they were professional and cleaned up the site well. The rain garden is absolutely beautiful"

"I contacted Ballard to have some trees removed. They responded quickly and showed up on time for the estimate. Their price was more than fair for the amount of work -- they removed two large poplar trees and two large holly trees, and ground out the stumps. The work was scheduled quickly. "We were looking into redoing our old deck and got a quote which we thought was reasonable for our large deck. Then for another estimate, we called 7th State Builders. They explained that for the same cost, we could get a paver stone patio (which in the long run is far less maintenance). The owner worked with our budget and the gentlemen who laid our pavers were extremely professional and worked within our wishes. They removed the deck and finished the patio in about a week. Awesome job! After a week or so, it had rain for a period of time and we noticed that a small dip in the patio was collecting a puddle. After a call, they came out and fixed the problem. We would definitely recommend this company for a patio."
