"I have a house with circa 1890's brick and mortar that once had seashells in it. David Ricard gave me a fair estimate to fill in mortar where a house brick was party broken by a telecom company and where some mortar fell out from an area a larger masonry company had repointed a few years before. David and his brother showed up on time, did the work in a reasonable amount of time, and cleaned up after. He showed that he understands different kinds of brick and the mortar required. I wish I had known about David before I hired that other company a few years before because the larger company didn't do a particularly good repointing job. I have upcoming mortar work needed on my front walkway and will be calling David for that repair. I would definitely hire him again and recommend him to others."

A man of from the crew showed up in person to explain the delay and reschedule. On the day the work began, they arrived early in the morning and worked until dark to finish. One man stayed behind and finished cleaning up with a flashlight. The new brick work looks beautiful. I would not hesitate to recommend CW Hardscape or use them again."

The price was fair (I had some higher estimates and some lower) and the quality of work was excellent with a good attention to detail. I most appreciated that Lazaro offered a vision for a better patio. My original request was to just replace the stones the way they were, but he made recommendations on how to improve the patio (with the same amount of stones) that led to a much better final project."

They removed and rebuilt a deteriated brick front porch, brick steps, and a 12 foot flagstone walkway to the driveway, and built a large backyard flagstone patio and a connecting 15 foot flagstone walkway. Before they had even finished my work, a neighbor had contracted them for an even larger project."

"We had an excellent experience working with Mike Erickson and his team from DC Patio. They removed the old concreate patio at the back of our house and installed a new large flagstone patio. They installed a new front stoop and a new front walkway. They performed a new drainage installation. They installed new footings for the deck posts and added decorative gravel under the deck area. "I am very pleased with the work from Elijah, his team led by Victor, and Cassella Landscaping. I hired them to replaced old rotting timbers of the wood trim of the yard of my townhouse. I have never hired a hardscaping contractor and most photos from others are of stone work. After emailing a few contractors, Elijah was very prompt to respond but I ended up going with a different contractor because our schedules lined up sooner. This ended up being a disaster - we ended up having the first contractor pull up the poorly laid timbers so we could start over from scratch. I ended up reaching out to Elijah again, and he was so professional and courteous. He answered all my questions, gave me multiple quotes, and was flexible with the price after our neighbors decided they did not want us replacing the timbers that were on their property line. Elijah worked us into their schedule promptly, and his crew paid great attention to detail, even offering to fill in the gap in our driveway left by installing the timbers straight with asphalt! His crew led by Victor was very communicative, checking in with me in the middle of the project to make sure I was satisfied before proceeding further. One issue I had with the first contractor I worked with was he cut awkwardly small pieces of wood to save on buying more wood. Victor cut nice long piece - and even went out to buy another plank of wood in the middle of the project to make sure it looked nice. They definitely do not cut corners! The price they quoted was higher than the first contractor, but I felt it was reasonable, and they definitely are worth it, especially given how professional and responsive they were to work with, and their expertise and attention to detail during the installation. Overall, I can't recommend them enough! I will definitely be reaching out to them again if any other projects come up!"
