"Cost $4850- They replaced our very large chimney cap, spalled bricks on chimney and other places, shored up the sagging bricks over the garage opening, re tuck pointed the bricks under most of the windows and on one doorway, fixed cracks on at least 3 walls and other small fixes, they really knew what they were doing. I was surprised how much better the whole house looked with all the bricks fixed up. They did a great job!"

"I contacted Gary shortly before Christmas because we noticed a smoke smell in the house for days / weeks after having a fire in the fireplace.  After doing my own research I thought it may have been caused by a draft and thought a top mount damper would fix it.  I asked Gary for a quote and to my surprise was able to come out same day to inspect the chimney.  He diagnosed us as having a moisture problem with the masonry causing the smell.  He proposed caulking a few places where moisture may have been coming in and sealing the brick on the whole chimney.  We had family coming in for Christmas so I asked him to get it done as quickly as possible.  They came out the same week and completed the work.  We noticed an improvement but the smell wasn't completely gone.  Gary followed up with me and I told him I was concerned because the smell was still somewhat present.  He came back again after the holidays when the weather was a little drier and sealed the brick again and made sure all the caulking was adequate.  Overall very pleased with Gary and their work.  They seemed fair with pricing and eager to make sure the job was done properly and up to our expectations.  Will gladly work with Smalling Masonry for any future needs.

"This questionnaire needs updating. The work I had done isn't listed as a choice. I had them repair my chimney and they do brick and cement work like the pros used to do in the 60"s. The work was a large repair of the brick chimney and during the process I could not believe the accuracy and skill these guys possessed.They also installed a stainless steel cap on the top too. "We have a long driveway in the country (100 yds+). With the past heavy snow and severe drifting, our driveway became impassable even for our 4WD pickup. Called Freshscape for a quote. They immediately quoted the job using a maps app. They arrived less than 2 hours later and worked for several hours to clear our driveway. The job was completed exceptionally well. They used a frontloader as well as some hand-shovelling (near our garages) to clear a wider drive than a simple plow would have done and they were very careful to not disturb the driveway stone under the snow.
