Comment: I’m an interior designer in Milwaukee. I have a client who lives at the above address. I have two bookcases that need to be painted that are flanking the fireplace. They are approximately 64”wide and 80” high. I’d need it all painted, the framing, the trim, the interior, the shelving and the back of each is to be done. It is going to be done Ina very dark dark blue, reading charcoal gray. In addition, I’m having some more detail added to the dining room. Sadly, the faux paneled wainscoting was inadequately attempted by applying picture frame molding over the stucco knockdown texture used on the drywall. To try to give it a chance, I’d like to correct this by removing the picture frame molding, then adhering a thin substrate, 1/16, 1/8, to cover the knockdown between the base and chair rail, then have the chair rail reapplied, and the corrected wainscoting painted in a dark gray.
