"Not to long ago I had a very bad experience with a local kitchen company that left my kitchen tore up and unusable. We contacted three kitchen stores in the area. After the looked at my mess, each company decided not to take on the job. My fourth call was to Tri County Kitchens. Within a few days, the owner of the company visited my wife and I to assess our situation. While he agreed that we had big problems he said it was nothing they couldn’t handle and help us through. We were extremely relieved. Our new kitchen was completely installed with gorgeous granite countertops, all new appliances, custom cabinetry and flooring. It is a very unique design that is extremely functional and to top it off the WOW factor is breathtaking. We were pleased that everything was done professionally, in a timely manner as promised, and my wife appreciated the fact that they cleaned up after themselves each day. Todd Leighton and his team did such a fantastic job that we then went on to order another kitchen for our pool house. It was smaller, of course, but Todd utilized every inch with stock cabinets that have essentially the same quality as my custom cabinets in my original kitchen. It too is perfect! Three is a charm; we recently had Tri County kitchens design and install my wife’s dream bathroom. Again, a great experience. I would highly recommend Tri County Kitchens to anyone!"

"Lou helped us to really understand the whole process - and the results were as good - if not better - than he promised. Repainted cabinets look like they are brand new. Don and his crew made sure everything around the cabinets was well protected by tape & paper so there were no walls / floors / ceilings accidentally splashed. Crew was very friendly and easy to work with. Highly recommended company."

"Neil came out and gave us an estimate along with recommendations on what shade of white would look nice. The first working day he came out to remove all of the cabinet doors, drawers (36 of them!) and a few shelves and he painted the boxes. He took the doors and drawers home to spray them (he hand-painted the boxes so we didn't have to shut down the room which was nice). while painting the doors he discovered a slight difference in the door paint vs the box paint (he showed me and honestly I would have never known) so he came back out and repainted the boxes. At this time he brought a sample he had done of the cabinet door antiquing detail (he hand-painted some of the grooves) so we could approve that. When he finished the cabinets he even went back and caulked areas and touched up our walls in spots that may have needed it. Even with the paint color issue, all the hand-painted detailing and Christmas coming up, he still finished ahead of schedule and we had a new kitchen for Christmas! He was incredibly professional throughout the process and an easy-going nice guy. It's been 4 months and I still walk into my kitchen and just stare at the cabinets because I love them so much now! I would (and have) highly recommend him to anyone looking to have any painting done!"

Please read this lengthy, but carefully crafted review of this team and the work that they did for me - especially if you are a woman on your own and looking for honesty and integrity as a prime requirement in a construction company. Powerhouse could be your team! They are: professional, personable, precise, perfectionistic, proficient, punctual, and pragmatic. I dreamed of a remodeled kitchen in my old farmhouse for at least a decade and had talked with several other contractors who either couldn't or wouldn't share the ideas that I had for the space - particularly at the budget I had set for the work. After one meeting, I knew that JD and Clayton had caught my vision and were ready to run with it. They also proved ABLE to complete anything I requested - often beyond my expectations. I felt that this father and his two sons treated my project as if it was their own kitchen - and included me as an integral part of the team for planning and decision making at every step. They heard and respected my ideas and offered many great suggestions beyond what I had considered., I feel that this was a true collaboration and the Powerhouse goal was that I was satisfied with the end result and that they were satisfied that they did the best work possible! The kitchen is fabulous and I don't know what I love most about it. From the newly leveled floor, to improved insulation and electrics, to raising the ceiling to the rafters, to combining two small boxy rooms into one huge and functional space, to repurposing the 50 year old solid wood cabinets, to adding a super pantry wall - everything was done to perfection! Truly a floor-to-ceiling-and behind the walls remodel that was completed within the price that we had agreed upon - no surprises or shocks! I don't think that there is anything that Powerhouse can't do and do very well. Certified electricians, master carpentry, expert tile work, creative fabrication of pantry doors....they excelled at all of this. Additionally, these men were a pleasure to have in my home - a real bonus when doing a project of this intensity (of time, money and decisions). They exhibit a strong work ethic, share great senses of humor, set and achieve high standards for quality of work, are never idle, cleaned up the workspace every day, and were always open to sharing ideas and explaining procedures. They get along well with each other - no bickering, no bad language, no dark or moody days! In my opinion, Powerhouse Construction and Electrical is simply the BEST group that I've ever worked with and I consider it a blessing that I found them! As I look to the future. I wouldn't consider any other company with whom to entrust my home projects ! These are "my guys" from now on!"
