"We were remodeling our house and went to Drakes Carpet. They has a nice selection and the people were very helpful and knowledgeable. I wasn't present when Sue came out and measured ,nor was I present during the installation ( my remodeling contractor was). I sure wish I had been there though, obviously their installers ( who hardly speak English) need to watched like a hawk. After a few weeks, the carpet was starting to lift at the edges and there is some gaps in the padding which you can feel as you stand on the floor.
The Drake family are very nice people and when I called them to complain, they were sympathetic and said they would send someone out to look at it...well...the non English speaking guy came out and said there's nothing wrong, at least I think that's what he said...very frustrating. I won't even call them out to clean the floors because I like to be able to communicate with the people I hire to work in my home. DONE !
