"I got a deal from Berger about their table pad and just in time for my new dining room set. I didn't have time to set the template due to a new baby in the house. A few months later, they still honored my deal! WOW! I sent it in and they made the pad pretty quick. Shipping was fine and the fit was excellent. I would recommend them to anyone! Truly a good company to work with. A++"

"Ed - was very straight forward and no nonsense. This was an hourly deal 4 hours for $ !99.00 - However because Ed was going bring an extra it was going to be 2 hours - for two guys - Ed said things get done twice as fast ( I doubted that )..but I wanted to get this done as we are putting our home on the market so I said fine. The guys showed up and started the job I watched them work and the second guy turned out to be a "runner" someone to stand there - hold things- and get things from the truck- I suggested that the "runner" maybe could do another task while Ed put up the lights. After all he was counted as a man hour in the deal - Ed was abrupt and said that is how he worked and if I liked he could pack up his stuff and leave - no charge. I took him up on that as he did not appear to me to want to do the work anyway. I can't say that he wasn't fair with me -- but I have two lighting fixtures on the floor - and I will have to schedule someone else to this. He said that Anggie list would arrange for a complete refund"

FAQs for design and decorating projects in Centralia, MO

Start by defining your goals and budget. Collect photos of rooms you love, jot down must-have features, and list what isn’t working in your current space. Share these details—and your target budget—during the first meeting. The clearer you are, the quicker a designer can translate your vision into a workable plan and keep costs in check.

Yes, working with an interior designer can help you save money. Designers prevent costly missteps, secure trade discounts on furniture and finishes, and coordinate the project so you don’t pay twice for the same work. Their upfront fee often pays for itself in avoided change orders, tighter timelines, and materials purchased at below-retail pricing.

A full interior design project wraps up in two to three months, on average, while a decorating job takes four to eight weeks. Timelines stretch if you add structural changes, custom millwork, or specialty materials, and unexpected shipping or permit delays can tack on extra days. Talk with your designer about project milestones and build in a little wiggle room.

Interview at least three pros whose portfolios match your style. Review their credentials and ask for references. During a face-to-face or virtual meeting, discuss your goals, budget, and timeline, and make sure their communication style and fee structure feel comfortable. The right designer combines technical know-how with a creative approach that clicks with you.
