"Wow! Rick is the best! He is the most responsive contractor I've ever seen, answering phone calls and messages and arriving promptly to begin the work just when he said he would! I had gotten multiple quotes for this job and he was the only one to really stand there and think about how it would look and any problems that they might run into. He had a crew of 5 that worked 6 days on removing an old rotten wood retaining wall, cutting it up and disposing of it, excavating a massive hill to add more flat space to the yard, and putting up two retaining walls with french drains. The crew arrived very early each day but were not loud, waiting until well into the morning to begin louder tasks like cutting the blocks. They did everything so beautifully and skillfully; my yard is totally transformed. I would definitely hire them again for any future needs! I could not be any happier with the outcome of the project! "We had a great experience with SPL Lawn Care who replaced our 34-year-old tie wall with Versa Lok weathered walnut stone and caps, along with the most fabulous irregular stone steps. It was exactly the look I wanted, a price that was the best available by a huge margin (as Ty did not pad by “selling” us more wall than we needed nor did he add surcharges for materials that had to be ordered), and his work came with the product distributor’s recommendations as the best contractor. Ty did not know we called; now he does and this reference was terrific. The job was completely quickly with Ty and a crew of four in three days. They were respectful of us and our property. Ty’s communicate on each day was excellent and his employees were very professional and polite. I like using local businesses and this reinforces the strength of our community. We are in Evans City.
