"For those of us who have purchased lakefront property that has not been maintained properly .. what is referred to as A Fixer Upper . You know that your list of projects will be long and that you will need to prioritize what you start first. In our case, we needed to stabilize the shoreline to prevent further erosion. There are a number of alternatives that you might use ... but if you are a first time lakefront property owner your knowledge about which alternative is best for your property is limited. That is where Lake Wylie Dock Construction came In. Todd Flowers and Greg Dunlap are the co-owners of the business and make a great team. One phone call and an appointment to look at my property and come up with a recommended approach to stabilize my shoreline was quickly made. In fact they both came out same day. They both walked my property and measured the shoreline and recommended that the best alternative to stabilize my shoreline was to install Rip/Rap. They walked us through their process and estimated timeline for the project and within the hour gave me a comprehensive estimated of cost of labor and material and the timeline of the project. It should be noted that our project also included the install of stone steps into the water so we can easily launch Kayaks and Paddle Boards or just go swimming. Flash forward .. to completion - the project came in on time and on budget .. they did an excellent job !!! We are very pleased with the final product and we strongly recommend Lake Wylie Dock Construction."

"My electrician was TJ and he did an amazing job. First up was installing a new heavy chandelier in the dining room. He determined the junction box wouldn't hold the weight of the new chandelier and installed one that would. Chandelier install went great. He moved forward to installing electrical two wall sconces in the dining room. Going into this project I was fulling expecting the whole wall to require drywall repair. In the end, I have one small, very neat, hole in the kitchen that will need repair. The chandelier had two single wall switches in the dining room. He placed a dimmer on one switch and on the second he changed it out to two switches. One for the chandelier and one for the two wall sconces. This exceeded my expectations for the room. He wrapped up the day by installing a new bar light fixture of the vanity. TJ is a thoughtful and talented electrician. I'm more than pleased with the work performed and would recommend Fairway Electric."

"Franklin Dixon does excellent work! He was careful to clean up each day. His work was great! His work ethic is excellent. Here are a few of the projects he did for us: built a ramp to access our pier; replace/repair a water damaged area in our home; built seats on our pier: built stairs into the water from our pier. Franklin will be our go to guy for any work we need!"
