"Ron returned our initial call the same day and an appointment for an estimate for a deck renovation was set for the next day. He arrived on time and provided us verbally with a detailed list of the services he would perform and 2 prices...in the spring and right now. This was followed up the next day with a detailed written estimate listing exactly what he had verbally said. We choose to have the job done soon and Ron said they could start the following Monday at 8am. He and his crew showed up on time that Monday and we were introduced to each member of the crew. Throughout the whole project Ron and each member of the crew were courteous and polite whenever we had an interaction with them. Ron never failed to respond to my many questions and was accommodating whenever we made a change to plans as the job progressed. His suggestions when we were stuck on a detail were always well thought out and showed his vast knowledge of decks, railings and fences. The job was completed as on time as the weather allowed and was done to the exact details of the original contract and the few additions/modifications made along the way. "My house is over 100 years old, and the first floor sagged in a few spots. Carter analyzed the beams in the basement, then came up with a game plan to jack up & reinforce the ones that needed it. His quote was very detailed and the price was reasonable based on what I was told by a structural engineer. Carter was very professional in his work, and he did a wonderful job. I noticed right away when I got home that the floor was level. I trust his knowledge & skills, and would definitely rehire him again if need be. I'd also recommend him to friends and neighbors. "These guys are the best. We were replacing a very large 20 year old wooden deck with Azek vinyl decking. We had received several quotes, but were most impressed with Evan & Matt's recommendations. We had done the research on the decking material and they had never worked with this material, but they did not try to talk us out of using it as other contractors had. Instead, they did their own research, added their own previous experience with deck building, and gave us a better looking deck than we had originally planned. They even found some old brick pavers under my deck and constructed a landing for the main stairs of the deck which was not in the original specs after discussing it with us."
