"The man came to measure went well, the installers were good. The salesman was good however he did not show me a cut away of the door or actually present any samples of the track. Just pictures and what can you tell from a picture??? The price was okay as I was anxious to get the door in before cold weather so bought it mainly for the pricing and thinking I would get in in about 6 weeks. It was 4 months and COLD when finally installed. The installation went well and only about 90 minutes. However after it was in I find out how terrible the threshold is. The track stands up about 1/2". You easily catch your toe on it, also stepping on the track your foot has no support. There is no raised panel to make the threshold even so you aren't' stepping right on the raised slide that the door slides on. Like stepping on a stick and again...you can trip on it easily. Also it was just a dual glass, not triple glas door. Hence the cheapness of it. I would never recommend Wasco for doors. Thumbs down all the way. When you buy cheap you get cheap so go for a better quality upper end door."

"There are many good things to say about Empire Home Remodeling. To begin the process, we selected three local window vendors. All three came to our house to explain their product line. We don't buy solely on price. Empire had the most professional presentation of the three we considered and we felt no high pressure from the sales rep. Price wise they offered the best product of the vendors at what we felt was a fair price. We were able to purchase triple pane glass for the same price the others were offering for double pane, glass, plus some additional benefits. Windows came with a lifetime transferable warranty. This can be a benefit when selling ones property. We felt confident that the measurements were accurate as they double checked before placing the window order. They were willing to work to our schedule as we had some major issues confronting us when it came time for the install. When it came time for installation the installer was very concerned that things were done right. He was very neat and left our premises in great shape. We feel we made the right decision because if we had a question of any type Empires owner, Melissa, dealt with it herself. We did not have to deal with a list of people in order to get an answer. We felt this to be very reassuring. In addition, Melissa, visited our house several times during the install of the windows to see if all was going well. "HomeSealed did a pretty good job, but left issues... the project was scheduled to install the sliding door over two days. They completed it in just under one day but left a hole in the floor from hvac and damaged drywall. After I complained, the salesman came to help me fix the floor. (Nice of him but lazy of the company to leave the issue). I also inquired about the drywall. They sent someone to do one coat. The worker even apologized saying **he was only supposed to do one coat** and he felt bad it would not be paint ready. So my wall does;t have any drywall holes but I am left finishing the job before I paint. I am very disappointed with what was the most expensive of 3 quotes I received for this job."

"I needed to replace an outside bunker door that accesses the basement of a summer home. I tried to find a local handyman through the internet and Home Depot with little success. I then tried Angie’s List and Juan the Handyman was first to respond. Overall, Juan did an excellent job in quickly visiting the job site, estimating the work, suggesting alternate solutions and quoting a reasonable price. After accepting the proposal Juan began work immediately. He sent pictures to me during the work to keep me informed.
