"This is the third time I hired Shalom Home Solution for a painting job----I just used their service a few days a go to pain the house I was moving into. I hired them to paint the house I was putting on the market for sale. This is a singe family house with about 2750 sqft of living space. The painting includes all interior drywall surface, window and door frames and baseboards. Again, the crew did a very good job in painting the interior and making minor drywall repairs along the way. Window treatment were taken down and put back without problem. The house was cleaned up afterwards. When I pointed out a few areas where the painters missed, Amilcar personally finished them himself. The job was completed on time."

"George's painting, inc was responsive and professional from start to finish. The project entailed wallpaper removal from 2.5 bathrooms and kitchen, repainting those rooms; installing a tile backsplash and vinyl tile floor in the kitchen; replacing the kitchen countertop; repairing a cabinet; repairing drywall and painting the ceiling in the master bedroom. The owner came out to do the estimate himself. He was accommodating when I wanted to expand the scope of the initial project and came out a second time to give me an updated estimate. He was easy to reach via cell or email. The estimate was more than fair. His crew completed the job in three days. "It went well. Mario came out promptly to access the damage to my basement and gave me an estimate that was within my budget. The work was scheduled and completed within a week. The guys Antonio and Daniel repaired drywall, baseboards, shoe molding and replaced the vinyl flooring in the bathroom. They also painted two large walls. The guys did an excellent job matching the stain on the shoe molding. And I just love the bathroom floor...what a great job. The job was scheduled to be finished in one day but they had a problem finding the shoe molding that matched. They were back the day and all is well. What a great job guys. The drywall and paint work was of reasonable quality - some of the drywall was not as smooth as I would like and there are areas where the paint line at the ceiling is not straight (there is blue paint from the walls on the white ceiling), but the overall finished product looks fine."

"We had a horrendous situation with a basement floor installation that went wrong leaving our house full of fumes, and a week later we discovered our basement was contaminated by asbestos in the process.  When we called Bill and Contractors Unlimited, they were extremely responsive.  Although other companies gave us bids, Bill was able to work his schedule to fit us in weeks sooner than the others.  Although the cost was a bit more, that saved us money because we were displaced and could not even go into our house because of the fumes.  CU set up negative air machines to replace the air, they followed asbestos abatement laws, they cleaned every item that could be salvaged in our house.  They even saved more than we thought which really reduced our overall expense.  Bill and his team were extremely professional, friendly, helpful, and really went out of their way to ease our stress from this situation.  At the end of their process, Bill arranged for a air quality inspection which we happily passed - able to return home.  I would gladly recommend Contractors Unlimited for asbestos abatement.  I just wish we had called them before the floor guys  created such a disaster.  Thank you Bill!

"In the early spring, I sought to resolve a leakage problem in our basement.  The source of the leak was a crack on the underground part of an outside wall.  After having another company give an estimate for correcting the problem, I contacted Waterproofing, Inc.  Steve Norfolk came out to meet with me.  After examining the area, he recommended a solution and gave an estimate for that solution.  He carefully explained the procedures and was patient to answer all of my questions.  I had confidence in his knowledge and integrity, and I felt very comfortable when interacting with him.  I also felt that the estimate and the warranty were very fair.  These were significant factors that led to my decision.  As a result, I contracted with Waterproofing Inc. to do the work.    The work was completed in one day.  They dug down to the area of the wall that had the crack (approximately 6-7 feet).  They applied  a sealant, two coats of  damp proof tar, and a plastic sheeting.  Finally, they covered everything with a piece of material the size of a sheet of drywall.  After packing the dirt back into the hole, they cleaned the entire work area.  On the inside wall, they applied hydraulic cement (as a secondary line of defense, since the work on the outside wall is expected to resolve the problem).  In the weeks since the work was completed, we have had several hard rains, and the treated area has remained dry.   I was very impressed with how Waterproofing, Inc. was careful not to damage anything in my yard and especially how they cleaned up everywhere when they finished.  Many companies, while completing a task, seem to damage something not really connected with the task. Throughout the work, Waterproofing Inc. showed respect for the entire property.   The communications with Steve Norfolk and his wife (in the office) were excellent throughout the process.  They were very prompt and responsive.  In addition they followed up with me to make sure that I was satisfied.  I would not hesitate to contract with them again, or to recommend their services."
