"They did a nice job. Their sub-contractor did leave personal trash at our house and our dog got into it. She helped herself to half eaten pizza. I let Homelife know there was a problem immediately, and it was rectified quickly. Additionally, I wasn’t happy with how our footers for our deck were handled. I felt like a board could have been placed over the open holes for homeowner safety. My small dog fell in but luckily was not hurt. The holes were open for 2 nights with nothing covering them, and it just would have been nice if they had been covered during the time they were not working. I was told it was because they were being inspected the next day, but still, someone could have uncovered them prior to the inspection. I just felt that it was unsafe to do that. If I had a small child that wandered into the yard, it could have been devastating. It’s just a suggestion I would make, and for that and the trash issue, I can’t give them 5 stars. There were also a few times that I emailed and did not get a response. There is one corner that the top board on the rail is cut incorrectly, but I have been assured that it will be corrected. Other than that the deck is beautiful."

"From day one we were very impressed with their attention to detail, cleanliness and understanding of our visions. After completing two full bathroom remodels we hired them for a conversion project that was far from traditional. We needed a barn with stalls converted to a kennel with full kitchen and indoor/outdoor access for the dogs. They took my rough draft drawing and gave me the foundation for a complete kennel (still in process of completing). Jim and Ralph have been very professional and flexible to our needs, as we needed at adapt designs as we progressed. We hope to use them again in the future."

He returned my calls promptly and completed the work in a very timely fashion. I needed to have an iron trellis repaired that was supporting my porch roof and I am very satisfied with the excellent results. We had set a date for the projject to be done, and he followed through as promised. I believe he was honest in his assessment and gave me a fair price for the work completed. He also does other exterior work, i.e., replace or rebuild porch beds and tile work, and I plan to hire him for future projects. I definitely recommend his business to anyone who needs welding/ironwork done."
