"There were some issues with my neighbors just two days before the fence was supposed to go up. Paul was very nice accommodating our issue. The fence looks great and we can now let our dog enjoy the backyard, as can we."

"I am extremely satisfied with my experience using SCP for a recent project to craft and install railings alongside my front walkway and porch. Steve did a phenomenal job on the design and was a pleasure to work with. The railings are honestly beautiful and were designed with a real artistry, with Steve customizing every detail and measuring everything out perfectly. On the installation day, Steve and his crew arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently, completing the install in just a few short hours. I cannot recommend SCP highly enough, given the professionalism, craftsmanship, and expertise they displayed during my project. I am planning to use them again when I get around to installing railings in my backyard."

"They were great and efficient. Our driveway is really steep. They had no problems. Cleared the swing out garage doors. I will have them come back for the next storms."

"Chris was so quick to follow-up and give us an estimate for a clean-up of our yard. His team did a wonderful job restoring our yard from overgrown jungle to beautiful landscape. I would highly recommend them!"
Financial responsibility depends on where the fence sits. If it’s clearly inside your lot, you foot the bill. When it’s right on the property line, state laws—California and Illinois are two examples—usually require both neighbors to split repair costs equally unless you agree otherwise. Check your local rules before scheduling work so you know exactly what you’re on the hook for.
Start by walking the fence line and noting every issue—loose boards, leaning posts, cracked panels. Next, gather at least three quotes from licensed contractors, comparing experience, warranties, and costs. Once you pick a pro, they’ll secure materials, reset posts, and fix or replace damaged sections. A thorough inspection and a qualified contractor keep the fence safe and extend its life.
Straightening a leaning fence costs an average of $200 to $400. A fencing pro will assess the damage, reset or replace the posts, and realign the panels so the fence stands upright again. Fixing the lean early on prevents further strain on framing and keeps the structure both sturdy and attractive.
