"Very professional and quickly responsive. Jamie was super helpful when working out the actual design of our fence. Jamie and Jay both answered all of my questions as I had no idea about the process. The construction team did an amazing job and put in a 12+ hour day tearing down our old fence and constructing our new one. All of our neighbors have complemented our finished wood fence and the work ethic of the team."

"This was the best contractor experience I have ever had! JD was the third person I called to get an estimate on repairing or replacing four windows that had water damage on the inside trim. The first two companies basically told me that they didn't really know what was causing the damage, but that they would tear out and replace the windows at a cost of $8000-$10,000. When JD looked at the problem, he told and showed me exactly what the problem was and informed me that he had dealt with this type of problem many times and proceeded to tell me what needed to be done to fix it. I showed him a couple of trim boards on my house that I was concerned about and he took the time to walk around my entire house to see if there were any other issues that stood out. He found a board on a door that I hadn't even noticed that was rotting. The next day, he emailed a bid around $1000. I was shocked that it was so low.I asked him to do the work, we agreed on a date, and the day before he called me to confirm. He and his two coworkers showed up exactly when they said they would and started working. He showed me the extent of the damage as he removed rotting boards and it was scary. There was hidden damage that was worse than anticipated, but JD stuck to his original bid and fixed everything he encountered at no additional charge. Within the last three years I have had my house painted and windows replaced by other contractors. They both said that they would replace any boards that needed to be replaced if they found them. Well, they didn't. These boards have looked like this since I moved into the house, but they both told me that there was no real damage, it was just cosmetic. What that really meant was that they didn't want to deal with my problems, they just wanted to cover them up and get paid. Here's my advice. If you are considering painting your house, or having any other cosmetic work done, call JD first! Have him come out and actually fix any problems that you may have first. He does great work and his prices are more than reasonable. Then when the painter (or whoever) does their work, you don't have to worry that they are just covering up problems which will only make them worse down the road. Thank you to JD and his crew and thank you to Angie's List for helping us get the word out about good, honest businesses like this one."

The time it takes to install a swimming pool fence varies depending on the project's complexity. A simple installation can be completed in about two hours. However, if your project involves concrete work, regrading, custom installations, or challenging terrain, it could take up to two full days. Each additional factor increases the labor and time needed to ensure your fence meets safety standards.
Yes, installing a lock on your pool gate enhances safety by preventing unauthorized access. A self-closing, self-latching gate with a key-lock mechanism provides strong protection, helping to keep children and pets safe. Securing your pool gate adds an extra layer of security and offers peace of mind when using the pool area.
A pool fence requires a specific height to secure the pool area. In most states, the fence must be 48 inches tall; some regulations require 60 inches for enhanced safety. Checking local building codes guarantees compliance with these height requirements. A taller fence strengthens protection and improves the overall security of your pool area, ensuring it meets stringent safety standards.
Mesh and tempered glass are among the safest pool fencing choices because their design and smooth surfaces make them resistant to climbing attempts. They provide consistent, rigid barriers that prevent unauthorized access to your pool area. These materials ensure optimal safety for children and pets. In addition, incorporating a pool safety net further enhances protection and addresses additional security concerns, ensuring that your pool remains a safe environment for all users.
Pool fencing requirements vary by local, state, and federal regulations. In most states, installing a pool fence is mandatory for safety and insurance purposes. Ask your pool fence pro for local regulations or check with your local planning department to understand the specific height and design requirements for your area. Complying with these regulations ensures legal compliance and enhances safety.
