"Outstanding work! I had two other contractors try and put up a fence and both did a terrible job. Josh and his team came in and fixed the bad fence in places and replaced it in others. Fast work, fair prices, AMAZING quality of work. Fence is still in perfect condition!"

"Chase from Blacksmith responded quickly to our quote request and he met with us to determine our fencing needs. We had just installed new retaining walls. His quote was online with other bidders. Chase was very knowledgeable and he made recommendations which we adopted. They were about 5 weeks out based on their scheduling which was fine with us. Chase k kept us informed on the starting date and throughout the project. Crew was hard working and courteous and cleaned up property when finished. I would definitely use them again!!"

"Greg was awesome! He was very nice and professional. He completely rebuilt my door frame for me and painted my door. Everyone else who quoted me just wanted to replace the entire door and frame and be done with it (and charge nearly a grand) but Greg built a new frame himself and let me keep my existing steel door which was still good and it saved me money. He even installed something I bought online to keep the rain out of the buildingâ ¦ Will definitely keep him in mind for any future projects/ repairs! Greg is the best!"

Small jobs welcome
"Randy and the guys with RD Construction are absolutely AWESOME!!! Our church is in Weatherford and their business is in Stephenville (45min. away) and I wasn't going to use them, BUT Randy insisted on coming to give me an estimate(@ no charge) on removing the popcorn ceiling from our new church building. When he got there he also gave us an estimate on tearing out a wall, building a wall, redoing the hall ceiling and texturing. He did EVERYTHING that we needed with excellence and it ONLY took him 2 days to complete the whole job. We are ready for him to come back and paint and probably do even more. THEY HAVE OUR BUSINESS FROM NOW ON!"

Financial responsibility depends on where the fence sits. If it’s clearly inside your lot, you foot the bill. When it’s right on the property line, state laws—California and Illinois are two examples—usually require both neighbors to split repair costs equally unless you agree otherwise. Check your local rules before scheduling work so you know exactly what you’re on the hook for.
Start by walking the fence line and noting every issue—loose boards, leaning posts, cracked panels. Next, gather at least three quotes from licensed contractors, comparing experience, warranties, and costs. Once you pick a pro, they’ll secure materials, reset posts, and fix or replace damaged sections. A thorough inspection and a qualified contractor keep the fence safe and extend its life.
Straightening a leaning fence costs an average of $200 to $400. A fencing pro will assess the damage, reset or replace the posts, and realign the panels so the fence stands upright again. Fixing the lean early on prevents further strain on framing and keeps the structure both sturdy and attractive.
