"Laura has been a true pleasure to work with! She is a true professional, sweet-natured, and a joy to be around. I needed window treatments for my new home and could not find anything I liked in stores or online. I bought her Angie's List Deal for help with that and for advice on color schemes. My deal had actually expired and she accepted it anyway. From day one working with Laura was fun. She has never been pushy or aggressive. I appreciate her expertise, but mostly her ability listen to my preferences and help guide me into a clear vision of what I wanted. Laura then took that vision and made it real with beautiful window treatments that made my house feel like a home; my home.
The best part of our working together was the shopping for fabric - together at a store  and sending fabric suggestions via text and email to each other. I really enjoyed being part of the process. Laura would always respond to my texts  or email inquiries in a timely manner. I was also in the midst of selecting paint for my house and Laura assisted me with the final color decisions. This really helped to make the window treatments "pop". During this time I also received advice on furniture,  furniture arrangements and accent pieces to complete my home. I have never decorated a home before as I have never been anywhere long enough to bother to try and it was great to have a professional to discuss ideas with. I feel that I got more than what I asked or hoped for. 
I will definitely be working with Laura in the near future to complete my master bathroom and study. I am very much looking forward to that. I would Highly recommend Laura to anyone for their home decoration needs!

At Double J Furniture, I can handle any type of furniture repair, new to old including vintage repair and refinishing. I do not however work on recliners or upholster. With over a decade of experience building and repairing furniture I pride myself on the quality of my work as well as my commitment to the best results possible. "It is a waste of money. The great majority of people are not going to find any value out of the service. If you need design consultation, you need a full service consultation. If you already have knowledge and experience, and you just need to get a few ideas, then you don't need to pay for that. You can just get a magazine or a book since you already have the knowledge of basic designs in your head or a little bit of experience. To have someone call you and give you information over the phone, you are not getting the personal service that you need. You may as well take the money $49 and apply it to something else like getting someone else to come out and give you the service that you need. Because, you are not getting much, you are not getting anything at all. They are going to have you do the work. After talking to them and I was talking to other home designers, I found out that that was a waste of time and waste of money. I gave them a C because they didn't fail at what they do but they don't offer any value for what they do. There's not much value to it. The cost was fair. They didn't do a terrible job and the cost isn't terrible, it was only $49. It just has a very low value. For responsiveness I gave them a B because they will answer your phone and answer your emails."
