"Ken Cook is personable and professional.  After a detailed site survey, he presented us with an easy to understand and clearly worded contract.  He quoted various options for us and was responsive when we called on various occasions.  We selected Cook's roofing after reviewing two other quotes.  Ken's list of references is impressive and after checking a few out, we were comfortable with our decision.

We had an attic ventilation issue that resulted in mildew coating a good percentage of the plywood on the northern side of the house.  Ken made sure we understood the problem and the proposed solution.  He supplied us with a variety of brochures and informational resources and was patient when answering all questions.

We were delayed a few times because of our lovely New England weather.  Finally when we had a break in the weather, Ken's crew descended.  I was amazed.  I expected 3, 4 or 5 guys working on the roof.  We had an army or a dozen or more and in short order the old roofing materials were removed and the new ones were going up.  While the guys on the roofing surfaces concentrated on their efforts, several worked circled the house picking up debris.  The crew was hardworking, courteous and considerate taking care around the landscaping.

About 95% of the roofing job was completed in one day!  The next day, two more workers came by to finish up the last 5%.  A week later (again, weather issues causing the delay), our gutters and downspouts went up.
