Small jobs welcome

"The handyman didnt get to finish all I wanted and didn't have more time. He said he didn't expect to give any more time because I had a Groupon and he said folks with groupons never want more than what they purchased. I didn't care for his attitude. He installed the fan but didn't have time to touch up the paint so I was left with two color of paint (from the previous light fixture) showing."

"This was my first time calling a handyman service and they have definitely set the bar high! I needed a TV mounted in my living room. I received an immediate call back and they got the job done in under 30mins. Will use again. Fantastic service!"

"Calvin arrived promptly and quickly assessed the work we needed to repair holes our puppy had chewed into the walls. He assigned the project to Larry Mills, who was friendly and fantastic. We will very likely have him back again soon!"

"Handyman Dave did a superb job! No more wobbly "fun house" stairs. No more inoperable chicken coop doors. No more airborne predator threat to the chicken run. Conscientious, ingenious, and hard-working. We'll definitely use him on our next projects!"

FAQs for handyman service projects in Austin, TX

To measure the right size for a pet door, start by measuring your largest pet. The flap should be at least one inch taller than your tallest pet and at least two inches wider. It's also important to measure the step-over, which should be no more than one-third of your pet's height from the floor to the back.

Pet doors are safe when you implement proper security measures. Opting for models with locking covers or electronic controls—such as microchips or collar-activated sensors—enhances safety by ensuring only your pet can use the door. These features are especially valuable if you have young children or want to prevent stray animals and intruders from entering your home.

Pet doors can affect your energy efficiency by allowing outside air to enter and affect the temperature in your home. You can minimize this impact by choosing a high-quality, insulated pet door that's properly sealed and weatherproofed. Investing in energy-efficient models helps maintain indoor temperatures while giving your pet the freedom to come and go.
