"I found Handyman and Mrs. Helper on Angie’s List a couple of years ago. I have hired them multiple times to do electrical, carpentry, and painting work. Anne and Andy in the office are a pleasure to deal with. I normally have Steve or Heath doing the work in my home and they are both very skilled, conscientious, and patient. I highly recommend them."

"Jaime was excellent. Extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and effective. He took the time to chat with me about what was going on and he had no issue listening to a recommendation I had for the repair (a burst water pipe in my condo building). He left the work area tidy when he left. If I need handyman services in the future he'll absolutely be the first person I call."

"I hired Frank from Small Jobs and he was extremely knowledgeable , friendly and efficient. He assembled an elliptical bike for me and did an amazing job! I spoke to several other handymen prior to speaking with Frank and they were extremely rude and arrogant. While speaking to Frank I knew he was the right person. His professionalism and demeanor sealed the deal."

Small jobs welcome
"Great experience with this handyman. He installed a new light for me, fixed another light that wasn’t working, and helped sort out a couple of electrical issues around the house. He showed up on time, worked quickly, and clearly knows what he’s doing. Everything is working perfectly now. Super easy to work with, fair price, and very professional. I’d definitely recommend him and will call him again if I need help with anything else."

To measure the right size for a pet door, start by measuring your largest pet. The flap should be at least one inch taller than your tallest pet and at least two inches wider. It's also important to measure the step-over, which should be no more than one-third of your pet's height from the floor to the back.
Pet doors are safe when you implement proper security measures. Opting for models with locking covers or electronic controls—such as microchips or collar-activated sensors—enhances safety by ensuring only your pet can use the door. These features are especially valuable if you have young children or want to prevent stray animals and intruders from entering your home.
Pet doors can affect your energy efficiency by allowing outside air to enter and affect the temperature in your home. You can minimize this impact by choosing a high-quality, insulated pet door that's properly sealed and weatherproofed. Investing in energy-efficient models helps maintain indoor temperatures while giving your pet the freedom to come and go.
