"Very good went over and above also installed a new ridged vent for the dryer. Planning to do a few more things for me. Clean very easy to talk too and understand what needs to be done. I would recommend ROBERT BROWNELL as a handyman even remodeling."

"Brian is my go-to guy whenever I need an extra hand or specialized handyman service at my home. He is knowledgeable, hard working, precise, and clean. It’s great to have someone who can just get the job done without supervision or extra direction. And if something doesn’t turn out the way we expect, Brian helps troubleshoot and brainstorm solutions. I’m very happy to recommend this service. If you’re looking for help with a large job, or just want an expert set of hands to take care of that work you keep putting off, call Fix It Felix."

"I hired Frank from Small Jobs and he was extremely knowledgeable , friendly and efficient. He assembled an elliptical bike for me and did an amazing job! I spoke to several other handymen prior to speaking with Frank and they were extremely rude and arrogant. While speaking to Frank I knew he was the right person. His professionalism and demeanor sealed the deal."

"I hired John to work on my deck. He came and measured, sanded, and stained it in a timely manner. He even went and got all the supplies and brought different paint samples to choose from. The deck looks fantastic. He did such a good job that I hired him 2 more times. Once to fix the fan in my daughter’s bathroom and an electrical circuit that kept going out. He fixed both issues perfectly!! I would highly recommend John for any job you have at your home!!"

"Very professional and honest, would absolutely hire again. Not only did they provide great work for a reasonable rate, (especially compared to some others I spoke with) they cleaned up afterwards and were very friendly. One of those contractor/specialists you actually feel like you can trust not to take advantage. Would absolutely hire again, and recommended to my father in law for projects at his house."

To measure the right size for a pet door, start by measuring your largest pet. The flap should be at least one inch taller than your tallest pet and at least two inches wider. It's also important to measure the step-over, which should be no more than one-third of your pet's height from the floor to the back.
Pet doors are safe when you implement proper security measures. Opting for models with locking covers or electronic controls—such as microchips or collar-activated sensors—enhances safety by ensuring only your pet can use the door. These features are especially valuable if you have young children or want to prevent stray animals and intruders from entering your home.
Pet doors can affect your energy efficiency by allowing outside air to enter and affect the temperature in your home. You can minimize this impact by choosing a high-quality, insulated pet door that's properly sealed and weatherproofed. Investing in energy-efficient models helps maintain indoor temperatures while giving your pet the freedom to come and go.
