"Jack did an awesome job on our basement! We threw him a few curve balls with some complicated features and he delivered just what we imagined. We had an unfinished basement so he put in a family room with a stone fireplace and built a mantle; a bedroom with custom built bookshelves and barn doors; and a bathroom with excellent tile work and heated floor. Jack was reliable and very accommodating. Whatever we asked he was able to figure out a way to make it happen. We are more than happy with the finished product and the value for our money. "Sorry for the long post, but wanted to make sure I did a thorough review. I got caught in the derecho that slammed Iowa in August 2020. A tree crashed down onto my mobile home and did extensive damage to the roof, gutter, siding and skirting. As an old lady who lives alone, I had no one to call and didn't know where to start to get my home livable again. I count myself extremely lucky to have gotten Tony of Midwest Remodel and Handyman to answer my request for help. He did an outstanding job! Because it was going to be a couple of weeks before he could begin and we had several days of rain forecasted, he came out right away and put a tarp on the roof. I had escaped water damage inside from the derecho, but was glad he took the time to put on the tarp so I didn't have to worry about new seepage. When he was able to focus on my home, he repaired the substructure of the roof and replaced the damaged shingles. He cut off the damaged part of the gutter and spliced in a new section so you can't even see the seam. He replaced the damaged siding and skirting, and again, took the time to make sure everything matched and looked nice. He did such an excellent job repairing the derecho damage, I hired him to fix a multitude of other things. I had a bathtub that couldn't be used because the faucet leaked. It didn't have typical gaskets, but he drove around to a couple of places and found the correct piece needed to fix it. He fixed a sliding closet door that wouldn't stay on the tracks, put down carpet transition strips so the carpet wouldn't pull up between the hallway and bedrooms, and even helped hang a couple of pictures that were too heavy for me to do alone. He adjusted the pneumatic cylinder on the storm door so it wouldn't knock me on my keister again when it slammed shut. He also replaced part of the front deck where the boards were rotting a bit. As a side note, his quote on the derecho repairs matched closely with the insurance adjustor, so I knew I wasn't getting ripped off. He's a super nice guy who was able to handle whatever I asked him to do, and I would definitely hire him again."

I also needed additional black dirt brought in to make it perfect. From start to finish the communication was excellent with Will. He let me know what time they would get to my job and everything that was going on during the work process. This is something that a lot of contractors just fail to do in my past experiences. They provide top notch equipment, with many different attachments for various types of jobs during the entire process. This ensures that the job is done correctly, the first time! Even going the extra nine yards finishing the job better than I expected."

"LNE Property Preservation delivered timely, high quality work at a affordable price. The owner Luis and his assistant were courteous, professional, and very easy to work with. They arrived on time and were careful to work safely. They also thoroughly cleaned up their work area, which I appreciated. From his first call to me, Luis listened to my needs to be sure he would provide the service I wanted. The initial project was to remove a pergola from our large deck. In talking through my future plans for the deck, Luis offered his ideas as well, and so I added solar lights to the deck bench and overhead solar lights with motion sensor. Luis and his assistant also found a way to use the beams from the pergola to replace the damaged lattice skirt on our deck, This allowed us to recycle the good beams and save money, both important to me. He also power washed the house, which was long overdue. In the course of the work, I’d asked Luis if he had time to also replace a couple of damaged deck boards. It was fortunate he could, for we found a colony of carpenter ants under these boards damaging the wood. After I had the ants treated, Luis returned and replaced a dozen boards. LNE delivered excellent professional work and customer service, and I would indeed call on them again. In fact, I’ve already made a list of several other projects for them!"
