"It went very well. John did an excellent job on the things we needed done. He is a personable and dependable guy, easy to talk to, and explained what he planned to do to correct my issues. I’d recommend John to anyone who needs a handyman. You won’t be disappointed!"

"Initial contact by Handyman was very quick, and the follow-up estimate was done the next day. Work was scheduled for three days later and satisfactorily accomplished in 7 hours. I received a call from the company two days after completion to check on the job quality. We were very pleased with the project outcome and the level of customer care we received."

"Alfredo did an awesome job and helped me with my "To Do" list!! I had several things that needed to be done, but they were small and he got it done in a very short time. He is a finished carpenter and I have more for him to do now that I have found him!"

"From start to finish, Aiden and his team were communicative, clear, and thorough. They repaired our wooden fence, installed a double and single gate, and seeded the yard. We were very pleased with the work they did. Aiden was always very responsive to texts and calls, and was very sure to make sure all of our needs were met. When asked about the various jobs, he was very sure to talk through the whole project to make sure that all parties were on the same page. I would certainly recommend Aiden and his crew, and would re-hire them ourselves for any future work. He also threw in cleaning our gutters at no charge."

"He put in a privacy fence and built a gate. Did the work exactly how I wanted it done. That was really great. They also did an egress window for me and it passed inspection. They were easy to work with, and great to have around."

To measure the right size for a pet door, start by measuring your largest pet. The flap should be at least one inch taller than your tallest pet and at least two inches wider. It's also important to measure the step-over, which should be no more than one-third of your pet's height from the floor to the back.
Pet doors are safe when you implement proper security measures. Opting for models with locking covers or electronic controls—such as microchips or collar-activated sensors—enhances safety by ensuring only your pet can use the door. These features are especially valuable if you have young children or want to prevent stray animals and intruders from entering your home.
Pet doors can affect your energy efficiency by allowing outside air to enter and affect the temperature in your home. You can minimize this impact by choosing a high-quality, insulated pet door that's properly sealed and weatherproofed. Investing in energy-efficient models helps maintain indoor temperatures while giving your pet the freedom to come and go.
