"I meant to write a review right after Randy did some work for me in March of 2025, but got derailed by a family crisis. Randy was flexible and understanding of my hectic schedule when I made an appointment for the bid. The day he arrived to do the job, he was on time and well prepared. He gave me great advice on the best options to suit my budget and needs. He worked efficiently and cleaned up the mess as he went along. Randy kept true to the time and cost on his bid. There was one small hiccup. He didnât replace the attic access panel (because I asked him to look at some other things) but I didnât notice until after he left. I tried but couldnât move it. He was halfway home when I called him but he came back and took care of the panel. He offered to adjust the price or give a discount for future services. Thatâs how true professionals handle problems! Own it, fix it, & make it right."

To measure the right size for a pet door, start by measuring your largest pet. The flap should be at least one inch taller than your tallest pet and at least two inches wider. It's also important to measure the step-over, which should be no more than one-third of your pet's height from the floor to the back.
Pet doors are safe when you implement proper security measures. Opting for models with locking covers or electronic controlsâsuch as microchips or collar-activated sensorsâenhances safety by ensuring only your pet can use the door. These features are especially valuable if you have young children or want to prevent stray animals and intruders from entering your home.
Pet doors can affect your energy efficiency by allowing outside air to enter and affect the temperature in your home. You can minimize this impact by choosing a high-quality, insulated pet door that's properly sealed and weatherproofed. Investing in energy-efficient models helps maintain indoor temperatures while giving your pet the freedom to come and go.
