"The PGM Handyman team did an excellent job of repairing a structural issue I had with an existing deck. They worked effectively, responded to my request to correct one very minor issue, and overall did a great job repairing my deck, repairing the roof on my shed, and replacing my pull down attic steps and hatch door. I would definitely employ them again based on the work they did for me."

"Blake Suddath is not only a pro who does a superb job, but he also showed me damage done to my siding by golfers from a nearby golf course. He even offered to help me if I didnâ t get a satisfactory reply after reaching out to the golf course management. He is more like a caring neighbor. He also removed fill from my gutters and told me my gutter guards were in backwards. While he was cleaning them, he put them in correctly. He isnâ t an electrician, but he is also an electrical engineer and changed out a light for me. His rate was extremely fair. I thought he was amazing and he is still offering help with referrals for things he doesnâ t do. He is not only a fair worker, but truly a caring contractor and a genuinely nice person. Everyone should find his work more than acceptable and his rates more than fair. When he learned my power washer wand wasnâ t working, he offered to take it with him, put his wand on it and return it to me working. Who does things like this? I am extremely glad to have him as a contractor. I would rehire him without question."

To measure the right size for a pet door, start by measuring your largest pet. The flap should be at least one inch taller than your tallest pet and at least two inches wider. It's also important to measure the step-over, which should be no more than one-third of your pet's height from the floor to the back.
Pet doors are safe when you implement proper security measures. Opting for models with locking covers or electronic controls—such as microchips or collar-activated sensors—enhances safety by ensuring only your pet can use the door. These features are especially valuable if you have young children or want to prevent stray animals and intruders from entering your home.
Pet doors can affect your energy efficiency by allowing outside air to enter and affect the temperature in your home. You can minimize this impact by choosing a high-quality, insulated pet door that's properly sealed and weatherproofed. Investing in energy-efficient models helps maintain indoor temperatures while giving your pet the freedom to come and go.
