"Armando is by far, the best handyman I've ever hired. He spent an entire day helping me get my new home move-in ready. He was punctual, friendly, and super handy. I'm relieved to have found such a professional and qualified handyman. I will most definitely be hiring him again."

Small jobs welcome
"Faiyaz did a great job with building and installing custom cabinets over my fridge, almost exactly matching the new cabinets to the existing ones in my kitchen. He also worked with me and built some specific added aspects that I wanted, such as pullout shelves. He communicated frequently, happily and easily made some needed last minute adjustments during the installation, and even charged me less than originally quoted when materials came in less expensive than expected. One thing to note is that the new cabinets look a little less polished than the existing ones. That being said, I love the new cabinets, am very happy with how they turned out, and got a great value."

"Scott loves a challenge and thank God because I inadvertently handed him one. What started as a simple changing of hinges on a door from single action to double action became much more than that. As he took the hinges off we noticed all sorts of unevenness in how they were originally mounted so he had to drill and chisel new channels just to make sure everything was even and then further “sculpt” the channels to accommodate the double action hinge. So not only did he get the handyman stuff done effectively but he did it in a very artistic way and seemed very pleased to have a job that he really had to get creative on. And in the end the job went 2 hours 15 minutes and he charged me for exactly that (no rounding-up funny business) Scott was great and I HIGHLY recommend him especially if the job requires someone who needs to think on their feet."

To measure the right size for a pet door, start by measuring your largest pet. The flap should be at least one inch taller than your tallest pet and at least two inches wider. It's also important to measure the step-over, which should be no more than one-third of your pet's height from the floor to the back.
Pet doors are safe when you implement proper security measures. Opting for models with locking covers or electronic controls—such as microchips or collar-activated sensors—enhances safety by ensuring only your pet can use the door. These features are especially valuable if you have young children or want to prevent stray animals and intruders from entering your home.
Pet doors can affect your energy efficiency by allowing outside air to enter and affect the temperature in your home. You can minimize this impact by choosing a high-quality, insulated pet door that's properly sealed and weatherproofed. Investing in energy-efficient models helps maintain indoor temperatures while giving your pet the freedom to come and go.
