"Jeff and his Team were OUTSTANDING !!! I had to replace a very old 45 Y.O. plus Oil furnace. After calling several other companies for a comparable replacement ( including my oil provider ), Jeff was the only company that really asked about my heating needs, plan for staying in the home and even reviewed some other options that would be best for me and my family. "I looked at a number of different options and they had the best pricing and they also specialize in just doing central air. So they were also sort of a plumber and gas fitter, anything like that, and so they really specialized in what I was looking for. So that is sort of their core business. They were good and they did a very nice, clean job. The house was built in 1901 and so they did a great job of removing the old radiators and radiant based heat systems and replacing it with a new central air set up."

"UIC was quick to respond and come up with the quote. Quote was very competitive against others. They were not so eager to do service on my old water heater though (I asked them to replace anode rods). I decided to go with them since their availability was good (2wks) and ratings on AngiesList were excellent while price was competitive. The job went well, though not without hiccups. I was expecting new boiler to be placed on the wall next to the foundation; though they built a new wall in the middle of the mechanical room, which costed me space; they said it will be 3K more to put in on the wall AFTER they arrived on the job with all the equipment and team. They refused to drain old water from my radiant heat system, saying I need a plumber to come for $290 per hour for 4 hours to drain the system and look for preexisting leaks. Had to hire some other plumber who took care of the problem for $215 in a mere hour. After the project was complete, system started to experience leaks. It was due to new drain connector that they decided to use for this project, and I was apparently first customer for it. After 3 unsuccessful attempts to fix the leak, they had to replace the connector, which addressed the issue. In addition, the system was eligible for rebate; however the rebate amount promised ended up being $450 less than actually paid; they quoted natural gas rebate though my system was on propane, which I told them upfront."

"we have a crazy heating system; no one in the ten years we've had the house has really been able to figure it out. That's just life. When the heating stopped working (in January) we called Milltown. They were very responsive. We had a technician here in a day who figured out there was a leak. Finding the source, and how to isolate it was anything but simple. The tech in charge persisted (figured out, in fact that the system had been piped wrong) and solved the problem over the course of a day and a half. Many would have thrown up their hands or managed some bad technical band-aid. It was expensive (but plumbing sort of always is, and I don't think this rose to the level of unfair), but importantly the system is now better understood and there's no more leak. On top of that all of my questions were answered and the work was done well. Highly recommended."
