"They did a great job! Everyone that I contacted with the company during my experience was helpful and polite. They installed a new HVAC (furnace downstairs and a/c outside) and a hot water heater in a 135 year old house which is a challenge, but faced it no problem. When they offered suggestions to make the system run better by adding additional cold air returns, they really worked with me to make sure that I was happy with placement and the finished product.....I mean who wants extra unattractive vents in the floor?? but they really made it look great! They were my lowest bid of 6 others selected from Angie's List/Lowe's and Home Depot and when the work was done it was right on bid not a cent more! I would definitely do business with them again my new systems are running great and the house feels very comfortable now. "OK, but left a bad feeling. Technician gave me a list of options from simple that I could do myself had I bothered to study the problem--replacing the rubber flapper--to needlessly complex that I could not see how the problem could be solved--tech proposed installing a water softener system, based on the rust-colored stains inside the tank. I explained that the toilet was old, and that the stains probably came from a time when the house was on well water. Since then, the house went onto city water and we haven't seen stains anywhere else. This explanation did not deter the tech, as he recommended a water softener system twice more before he left. (This gave me the impression that Hope encourages all its technicians to recommend the most expensive "fix" to a problem, even if it may not be useful or necessary). In any case, I chose the simple solution and it reduced but did not totally fix the problem. I have called Hope and asked them to come back. We'll see."
