"TeamEnoch replaced my old air conditioning and heating systems, and the work they did was so good it borders on the unbelievable. Two very professional technicians showed up exactly on time, worked for 11 hours straight in really horrible conditions (a cramped attic in 95-degree heat) and did the whole job in one day! To top it off, their company’s price for all this was significantly lower than other estimates I had. This is a great company. I can see why they have won so many awards. *This review was migrated from an affiliated account on Angi with an original submission date of 10/4/2021"

"I had been experiencing uneven heating and cooling and high electrical bills for many years. My unit was also almost 20 yrs old and not working very well anymore. I did my homework and decided I wanted a Trane. I contacted several companies for estimates. Air Network as the only company who contacted me in the time frame promised as well as coming out to see what my needs really were. It turned out my duct work was done improperly by the previous owner resulting in my uneven cooling. Air Network answered all my questions honestly and gave me several bids on different brands and sizes before the day was done. I still insisted on the Trane which by brand names is not the least expensive but was still at a very good price. His crew showed up on time during a day where it rained all day. They put mats on my floors and began dismantling my system. Chris the owner drove 2 hours to north Austin to pick up the unit I requested since there were no local Trane outlets and then 2 hours back to Hallettsville. They worked so efficiently I actually fell asleep in my recliner while they worked. By the end of the day I was more comfortable in my home than at anytime since I bought it. His crew were neat and courteous and left my home cleaner than when they arrived. I was so impressed by Air Networks that I will not allow any other company to service my system in the future. There were no extra or hidden costs. The job was done for exactly what the estimate was. I HIGHLY recommend Air Network. This is the first 5 star rating I've ever given a business, but Air Network truly deserves it."

"Overall Impressions: Blu Sparrow’s owner Danny went above and beyond in order to get my furnace back up and running. If ever again I am in need of HVAC work, Danny from BluSparrow will be the first (and likely the last) person I will call. Why You Should Hire Blu Sparrow: If you are anything like I was when my furnace went out in the middle of a winter storm event, desperate to get your heat back on but very wary of slick tradesmen, no need to look any further. Blu Sparrow doesn’t even charge you a service fee to come out. Unlike other companies who charged me close to $100 just to come out and give me an inaccurate diagnostic and an overpriced quote that wouldn’t have even solved my problem, Danny didn’t charge me at all for coming out, nor for making two back-and forth-trips to get different parts from his offices, nor for attempting to solve my issue using info I gave him from the first guy who had come out. Rather, he was fair for only charging me for what actually solved my system’s problem, and he demonstrated his superb craftsmanship installing a new control board. Job Summary: Within five minutes of creating my request, Danny called me and gave me an exact dollar figure estimate to replace the part I believed to be the problem. This was very appreciated and super important because it helped me while fielding quotes from other crews to identify possible scammers. We scheduled an appointment within 2 hours and while the first guy unsuccessfully attempted to charge me to sit in traffic for an hour and then rushed out the door when he said his time was up, Danny personally came to make sure I’d get helped that day, and after he tried the initially diagnosed repair and it didn’t solve the issue, without hesitation he went back to testing various things and ultimately identified the control board as the root cause of ignition failure. At that time, he told me his hypothesis, gave me an exact dollar figure estimate to make the repair (no hidden fees or head-scratching jargon, and they accepted my warranty, greatly reducing the headache from the entire ordeal) and because of the cost & complexity of the repair, he performed a couple more tests to help confirm his diagnosis. I really appreciated that. After confirming they had the necessary part, he speedily picked it up, returned, and made the installation. Then after confirming with me that I was satisfied and all concerns were addressed he was out the door. I appreciate that later on he sent me pictures he had taken throughout the job, ending with a shot of the 4 piping hot blue flames propelled from my unit’s burners. Thank you again Danny and Blu Sparrow for coming out so quickly and for working late to ensure my family didn’t have to endure another day/night of sub-50 degree temperatures indoors."

"Professional service friendly and very knowledgeable. Clear explanation of the work being done to the unit and how to properly maintain the unit. Highly recommend."
Converting from an oil furnace to an electric furnace isn't a simple swap—the oil system needs to be completely removed before installing the electric furnace. You'll need a full electric system installation, but you might be able to reuse existing ductwork if it's up to current safety standards. You’ll need to budget for a new electric furnace installation, which costs between $1,800 and $6,200, including professional removal, proper disposal, and safe installation of the new system.
Electric furnaces are 100% efficient at converting electricity into heat. However, some of that heat can be lost as it travels through your home's ductwork or escapes through poorly insulated areas. That's why regular duct maintenance and proper home insulation are important to maximize your furnace's efficiency and reduce heat loss, ensuring consistent warmth and lower energy costs.
With proper maintenance, an electric furnace can last anywhere from 20 to 30 years, outlasting the average gas furnace's lifespan of 15 to 20 years. To keep your electric furnace running efficiently, schedule regular cleanings, tighten connections, and have inspections done before winter arrives. With routine maintenance, you’ll ensure consistent, safe heating for years to come.
The size of the electric furnace you need depends on factors like your home's square footage, climate, and insulation quality. As a general guideline, those who live in warmer climates should multiply their square footage by 30 to 35 BTUs, while those in cooler areas should multiply it by 50 to 60 BTUs.
Consulting with an HVAC professional can help you determine the exact size that's right for your home.
An electric furnace works by converting electricity into heat using high-resistance heating elements. A blower then pushes the warm air through your home's ductwork, distributing heat evenly throughout your space. Since there's no combustion involved, electric furnaces eliminate the risks associated with gas furnaces and provide consistent, reliable heating when properly installed.
An electric furnace uses between 40 and 80 kilowatts per day to heat your home. The exact amount it uses depends on factors like your home's size, insulation, and overall energy requirements. Larger homes or those with poor insulation use more energy than smaller, well-insulated spaces. A professional furnace assessment can help confirm the ideal unit size for your needs.
