But once Chad got an air compressor hooked up to the water line to blow the water out, he found the leak to be in the yard where a landscaping crew had capped off the old sprinkler system with the incorrect fitting. He and his crew got the problem solved in just a few hours. The price was considerably less than what we talked about if it had been a slab leak, so I was very pleased about that also. He came out later that same day, checked for Freon leaks, and serviced the system.
