"Justin and Cam, the technicians, did a great job. We have an old farmhouse with a very strange configuration of partial crawlspace and partial full basement, and water was leaking through the fieldstone foundation wall from the crawlspace. They quickly diagnosed that the problem was coming from 1 or 2 zones of the hot water radiator heating system, and they were able to shut off those zones to stop the leak, while allowing the house to still use water for sinks, toilets, and showers. We'll have to do more work later to replace pipes to the radiator but, because they are hard to access, we need to plan ahead for some construction work. I'm fully satisfied that these guys were able to find the problem and give us even a temporary solution that allows us to have our working plumbing again without the basement getting wet. Would definitely work with them again."

Jeff, the company owner, and his team recently replaced my very old home heating system with a high-efficiency boiler. I placed a request through Home Advisor and received a call back from Jeff the very next morning. Jeff was at the house that evening and spent an hour or more with me explaining my options in detail and answering all of my questions. I inherently knew, from that meeting, that I was dealing with an honest guy. He spoke with pride about his family and that his wife and boys are key to the success of the business. I expressed to Jeff that I was concerned about the safety of my current furnace and wanted to get it done as soon as possible. "Things went very well. The sales process involved a home visit, discussion afterwards, and follow up by e-mail messages to determine what I needed in general, what I wanted in detail, the price, and understanding about rebates. Everything was clear, up front, and complete (for example, no additional costs showed up later). Airco was patient with me and spoke at my level. Their schedule was busy and there were a couple of misses before the installation date was agreed to. It was met without being changed by them. The installer was professional and courteous and put up well with my questions. The installation was done well in the proscribed time. Old stuff was carted away and clean up was done before departure. The air conditioner and new thermostat have worked well. It has been too warm to give the furnace a significant shake down. Airco did their paperwork for rebates and supplied me with the information I needed in a timely manner. There were a few misses scheduling the QIV test, but it was done at the agreed upon time and date. Again, in a very satisfactory fashion. My overall impression is of good, honest people.

"I have been using DRB Heating and Cooling services for years now. Often times, service is completed by the owner himself, which is great. But other technicians have serviced my furnace or a/c, and theyâ  ve all done a fine job. No complaints here! Dan is reliable, competent, and a consummate professional, and he never tries to upsell. Sophia always keeps me informed, including when Dan is running late. With any repairs, one must anticipate delays, as the technician might run into unexpected complications at a previous job. "I typically get several estimates before any major expense. I do this to gather information as well as compare price and the people behind the websites. Two other companies were recommended to me by friends. Accurate was my third estimate. My previous furnace was installed by Accurate and serviced by Accurate so I was going to check with them before buying a new furnace. Accurate even showed up first thing one winter morning when the furnace didn't turn on. 



Each estimate said something a little different about which furnace to buy and how it should be installed. Derek from Accurate showed up on time and appeared to know the product and the installation requirements - including the expectations of the local building inspector. The building inspector has to approve the installation when it is finished. I honestly don't know if I chose the right furnace by purchasing a TRANE. I didn't want the most expensive model and I wasn't pressured to buy it. I did buy the pricey air  filter since a family member has allergies. 



The installation process went very smoothly. The man who spent all day doing the installation was low-key, friendly, and appeared to be doing a careful job. E.g., he didn't talk on his cell or blare a radio. Accurate arranged for the plumber to do the gas line hook up and the electrician to connect the new furnace and install a CO2 alarm. The plumber returned at a later date to show the finished job to the building inspector.



 It took a lot of time to learn about the new high efficiency furnaces, talk to friends about how they managed home heating issues, and then meet with contractors. Since it's such an expensive and long-term purchase, it's a tough decision. I decided to stay with Accurate based on past experience and I think it was the right call.
