"Did a great job on the insulation however they left a hole in the ceiling when they dropped something on the attic floor. Not a big deal but they need to be careful. Overall, amazing work they do all kinds of insulation and they also install radiant barriers on roof joists. They are reasonably priced and the crew is super friendly, pleasure to work with."

"We were extremely happy with our recent service. We really liked that he showed us the aspects of our dryer and vent and how we can keep it clean on a weekly basis. He was very tidy too! I would definitely recommend him and plan to have him return each year."

"Can't say enough good things about this company, an overall pleasure to deal with. The owner responded fully to all my questions and the crew that came to do the work was excellent. The owner stopped by the second and final day to see how things had gone on the first and assure me that he and the crew were only a phone call away if I had any questions or issues. I have another insulation project and I intend to use Koala Insulation and I expect the same results. Thanks for the great job!"

"Don't look anywhere else! This guy knows his insulation business and goes above and beyond. He did extra work not in the agreement at no cost to me... he is a perfectionist, and will not stop the job until he is satisfied that your house is as well insulated as it can be."

"This project started w/ my husband & I wanting to change out 3 windows. THREE. We'd gone thru the whole spiel w/ Anderson who wanted to swap out all our windows for an obscene fee. That was NOT what we wanted. After submitting an Angi request, Victory reached out. We set up an appt where they showed us the quality of their windows & also pointed out the poor condition of ours. We were immediately impressed. I'm talking energy efficient, virgin vinyl, break in resistant & MORE. We were sold but concerned about being appvd for financing. Kyle was able to find us a lender at a decent rate. He assured us the job wld go smoothly. Truthfully we were dreading the actual install because of the mess. Kyle assured us again that everything wld go smoothly. Install day arrived. We were told prior that it'd be an all day project. Understandable for 18 windows. A team of 4 arrived at 8:30, got right to work & were done by 3pm! And when I say done, I mean installed AND cleaned up. They thoroughly vacuumed the areas they were working in. I couldn't believe it. Now our windows are beautiful! No more mold. No more decay. No more stuck locks. What a total upgrade! I've never experienced such good service. We're looking fwd to finally being able to open our windows safely AND saving $ on heating & cooling. Money well spent! I highly recommend Victory Homes."

Old insulation should be removed when it shows damage, contamination, or heavy deterioration. If you notice water stains, rodent droppings, mold, or large gaps, plan on taking it out to protect your home’s energy performance and indoor air quality. Removing compromised material eliminates health hazards, cuts energy loss, and sets the stage for a safer, more efficient attic—all while keeping utility bills in check.
R-value measures how well insulation resists heat flow—the higher the number, the better it slows heat transfer. The right R-value keeps your home warmer in winter and cooler in summer, saving energy year-round. Match the rating to your climate zone and have a pro verify performance over time, because moisture or settling can lower R-value and cut efficiency.
Attic insulation can stay in place for 80 to 100 years, but its performance often drops after the first 15. As dust, moisture, or mold build up, the material loses R-value and allows heat to escape. Schedule periodic inspections so a pro can tell you when replacement makes sense—helping you keep energy bills down and indoor comfort up.
You can over-insulate an attic. Beyond the recommended R-value, extra layers don’t add efficiency and can trap moisture, leading to mold or reduced performance. A local insulation pro can measure current levels, confirm the right target for your climate, and advise on any adjustments so you avoid future energy or maintenance headaches.
Insulation can be damaged by mold, pests, water leaks, or accidental electrical contact. When the material is compromised, it loses R-value and can introduce health hazards. Removing and replacing affected sections restores efficiency, while routine inspections from a qualified pro help you catch problems early and keep your attic safe and energy-smart.
