Their communication was excellent throughout, and they were very transparent with when they would start and how long the job would take. When they came out to build the retaining wall, they were very respectful of our property and our neighbors. They warned us that their equipment might tear up the yard, but in the end I didn’t see any damage at all. They kept us updated on how the job was going through the process and where plans needed to be adjusted so we could decide what we wanted and how we would like to proceed. The quality of the retaining wall they built for us is amazing. I am so pleased with the result, it looks fantastic and has stood up to several hard storms so far without any soil loss. Overall they were courteous, communicative, and kind throughout, and I couldn’t be happier with the retaining wall they built for us. It was an area of my yard I had been stressed about for a couple of years, and it’s a load off my mind knowing that it is now taken care of. I look forward to being able to hire them again."

"Contractor was chronically late for all appointments by 2-3 hours. He stayed and worked well into the evening, even in the dark. I appreciate that he got it done eventually, but did not like having someone there till 9:30 at night. He did a good job on the concrete stairs - they look great. He left a mess in my basement when he repaired the front stoop. He also used a folding chair in my basement to stand on without asking - it is now a mess. For the wood railing on the back stoop, I specifically asked for a 4-5" space to be left under the bottom of the railing so I could sweep snow off in the winter. I also wanted the railing going down the stairs. At first, he did not want to do this (said something about code did not require it for the 3 steps going up) but it was part of the estimate that I approved. I asked him to fix the space under the railing and put on the railing for the stairs. He did come back and fix all to my satisfaction. Very nice guy, just not punctual or professional.
