"I recently had the pleasure of working with Juan at J&P Brothers Landscaping to transform my front and side yard, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, Juan and his team demonstrated professionalism, expertise, and a genuine commitment to excellence. 1. Initial Consultation and Proposal: Juan visited my home, took meticulous measurements, and showed me impressive examples of his previous work. He listened attentively to my preferences and needs. Within a week, he provided a detailed proposal that broke down various options, including addressing our backyard landscaping needs. 2. Efficient Execution: After a brief delay due to rain (which Juan communicated promptly), his team efficiently cleared out the yard in just one day. Over the next two days, they laid down approximately 2,500 square feet of lush Kentucky Bluegrass in the front and side yards, as well as the parkway. Juan also addressed a water pooling issue near our foundation—a problem we’d been grappling with for a while. 3. Attention to Detail: Not only did Juan level the problematic area, but he also added a beautiful flower bed according to our agreed-upon plan. Landscape fabric was strategically placed to prevent weeds, and a layer of fresh mulch completed the look. Our neighbors have been giving us glowing complements —the transformation is remarkable! 4. Smooth Process: Juan’s digital contract process made everything hassle-free. I appreciated the transparency and ease of communication throughout the project. 5. Looking Ahead: My wife and I are thrilled with our rejuvenated front yard, and we’re already planning to engage Juan for our backyard landscaping. His expertise and dedication are unmatched. In summary, Juan and his team delivered exceptional results, turning our outdoor space into something truly special. If you’re seeking top-notch landscaping services, look no further—Juan is the real deal!"

"Professional, on-time, responded to requests and ideas very timely. The entire goldleaf team was a please to work with and very open to ideas and concerns. Competitively priced. Will rehire for other landscaping needs."

"In June 2017 we purchased a house in River Forest and one of the few things that I did NOT like about the house was the landscaping. Fast forward to September of 2018 and I was finally ready to get the yard taken care of. After reviewing a number of companies and receiving a number of emails I went with Lofton Landscaping to take care of a new vision for the lawn. Carolyn who is a landscape architect for the company came out to my house within a couple of days of the first contact to take photos of the lawn and to discuss what my ideas for the yard would be. I had NO idea what I wanted in the front yard. What I DID know is that I wanted the hideous shrubs and overgrown trees taken out from the front of the house. Carolyn was very easy to work with and with minimal input from me. I told her to, "design the front yard landscaping like you would do if this was your house". With that information she emailed me the next morning with her vision of what the front yard would look like. I knew from that moment that I would go with Lofton. Carolyn was spot on with what I wanted the front to look like after only minimal input from me. The landscapers came out about a week or so after putting in a deposit and signing the contract. There was a lot of work to do; remove huge overgrown ugly trees and shrubs, remove the grass which had seen better days, lay down sod, plant beautiful high quality new plants, install lighting for the area and mulch. The landscapers were very professional and did their magic in the span of one day. There was a very small "hiccup" with the transition from our lawn to the neighbors and some slight damage from the landscapers walking on a small portion of the neighbors lawn which was inevitable to get all of the things cleared from our property. Carolyn, Lofton and the landscapers were very quick to address the situation and put down extra sod where the lawn was damaged. I consider that a very minor issue and one that can be expected on such a large project. To say that I am pleased with the new look of the lawn is an understatement. I have had them plant sod in the back yard and to remove some dead and overgrown plants from the back as well. I am also planning on having them work on some more improvements to the back yard next spring. I am more than pleased with the service that has been provided by this company and would highly recommend them to anyone."

"Excellent work and reliable service! I hired Luis for a complete yard cleanup and landscape redesign, and they exceeded my expectations. My lawn and garden have never looked better! Highly recommend him to anyone looking for quality landscaping work."

"Excell laid a brick paver patio for us and we couldn't be happier with the result. Jose was always available for our questions and job was performed on time. Crew was great too; area was kept clean. Highly recommend Excell Landscapes!"

"Alvaro and his team worked so hard to complete a large patio and landscaping project for us. They replaced our old brick pavers with new Unilock pavers, installed a new landscaping border wall, installed a new front walkway, and removed old shrubs. They cleaned up our mulch beds with new hostas, hydrangeas and arborvitaes and fresh mulch. They also added brand new sod in the back yard. It was a pretty big project that took just 2 weeks in the 90 degree heat. Alvaro was very communicative and provided recommendations when necessary. Overall we are very happy and would hire him and his team again and again!"

"Very friendly staff? Landscaping ideas and completion was excellent! Our backyard looks like a resort"

"Landscape Illumination installed landscape lighting for our home and at the same time installed year around holiday LED lights around our roofline. Customer service is great - we had a strand of LED lights act up right after installation and they were right out to replace the strand. Our landscape lighting works and looks great every night but I waited an entire year to write a review to make sure our holiday lighting worked fine this year when I turned them back on - I'm happy to say that every LED light is still working great and I changed them to ORANGE for Halloween. thanks again to the team at Landscape Illumination - landscape lighting and permanent holiday lighting was worth every penny!"
