"The owner initially came to my home to assess the work I needed to have done. He is very knowledgeable about landscaping. The time he spent upfront was greatly appreciated as he fully understood to my landscaping needs. He had great ideas on how to replant a tree, recommend how to control grubs and how to properly care for specific plants. Once the project began the owner was no longer involved. In fact, I never saw him again. In addition to his landscaping services I had him give me a bid for painting my new fence and yard fence. The painting itself was very nicely done however, the worker(s) were careless and left several oil based paint spots damaging 15-20 of my brand new pavers. When I addressed this with The Owner he replied via email his worker(s) told him they didn’t do it. I provided pictures of the pavers as proof to substantiate my claim. The Owner had his lead come by our home to fix a sprinkler head that was covered during sod repair and to remove these stains. When I reached out to The Owner again he solely relied upon his lead who promptly told him the oil based paint stains were removed. The stains still remain, I’ve contacted my pavers company who clearly stated “oil based paint cannot be removed!” It became blatantly obvious the owner was siding with employee. In fact, The Owner not once has stepped foot on my property since he took the bid. He never came to oversee the project and all contact with him has been via email or text. Lastly, we were in agreement to plant a new tree. As of this review, I have never heard back and there was never any follow up as to when this would be done. I really had high hopes In the beginning and I am very disappointed in The Owner’s project management. He appears to be knowledgeable but my recommendation is that he needs to manage his team, stay closer to the project and make an attempt to do a final walk through. Lastly his hourly bill rate was inconsistent vs. negotiated. Hourly rate doubled for final day of painting which I regretfully paid."

"Easily the best landscape company out there. The owner Ernie was amazing. Fair pricing and exceptional work. Our back yard looks fantastic. Will certainly work with Blue Star again in the future."

"I’m so happy we hired DL Landscaping. They completely transformed my backyard with new turf, concrete, fencing, tree trimming and sprinkler system at an extremely fair price. The work was top quality and materials used were top of the line and work done in a timely manner to meet schedule. I highly recommend this company and Daniel’s team. I will be recommending them to all of my friends and family for landscaping needs. 10/10 stars."

"We couldn't be happier. Jamie and his crew were outstanding. They removed old turf, rototilled in compost, installed a new sprinkler system and an underground drain and then installed Bolero sod. They showed up every day and worked nonstop until the job was completed. Jaime's attention to detail is amazing."

"Jacques Landscaping was very prompt to come out to do a formal evaluation and estimate for our project. Bob had a lot of great ideas to make the kennel and dog turf super secure, so our dog could not dig his way out or damage the area. So far two weeks post project, the kennel is holding up well with no damage to dog or kennel! The only thing that might have been better is communication about when work would be done and consistency of workers to complete the job, but they got us in promptly, and we are grateful for that."

"Large drainage project. Replaced drain channel with larger channel across concrete driveway. Replaced all perforated drain pipes in front yard with solid 4" pipes. Connected both the driveway channel and roof drain pipes to front yard pipes. Connected all drain pipes to underground sump pump container. Work was done on time. Price was reasonable. Very pleased with results and no more driveway or front yard flooding."

"We hired Ricardo and his crew for backyard landscaping with building of retaining walls, pavers installation, and cement work and trees planting for each side of the backyard. They did an excellent job with the retaining walls and the pavers we decided to have them design and build our front yard landscaping as well. We also have them build a gate for the front porch and a metal screen door for side door. Their brick and metal works were just excellent and the gates were nicely powder coated. Lightings were also installed in the front and back yard. At the end we also have Ricardo built a 8x10 ft shed for us. Everything was done to perfection. One thing that really impressed me about this group was they showed up to work every day when weather permits. Communication was very easy with Ricardo and most importantly the quotes he gave us were more than reasonable. Greystone Landscape is run by an excellent group of people. I will call them again for future projects and will recommend them to my friends with no hesitation."

"What impressed us right away is that Roger took time to assess every detail involved including our hardscape structurers, BEFORE he gave us feedback and then the estimate. He thoroughly provided all the options. The job was scheduled sooner than other options. He and team arrived on time. The tree was in an awkward space, but he and his team did a thorough job, even moving and replacing the patio furniture, grills, etc. They did not leave until the yard was clean as when they arrived. We recommend this company and will use them for other projects as well."

"Jose gave me a competitive quote for the work I was needing as well as provided advice on some future work we could look into doing. His workers went above and beyond my expectations and did a wonderful job making our home look better. I would highly recommend Jose and his team now known as Elegante Landscapes."

"We just moved into our new home in Sacramento and as you know these new build houses are bare bones when it comes to landscaping! Yasmine came out to do our estimate and ultimately we chose her and Forever Green as our landscaper. I am so impressed with her professionalism and vast knowledge on landscaping options! She guided us the entire process and was prompt with her communication! I’m so happy with my new backyard!!"
