"I contacted four landscapers through Angie's List. Two never responded; one got back to me but couldn't do the work for weeks. John's responded quickly, popped by to survey the job (without me even knowing!) and was able to schedule it within the week. Two men came by and worked for three or four hours on the bed. It was too tough for a tiller, so in the end they used an industrial aerator to loosen the dirt/roots, then raked it out. They did a great job, were very careful of the surrounding garden decorations, and thoroughly cleaned up after themselves. "Amazing Garden did a complete landscape redesign. We gutted our front and backyards. They added 2 stone patios; one with a firepit and one with a retaining wall because of our sloped yard. A new retaining wall on the front of the house. New soil, sod, plantings, sprinkler system, and stepping stones. The project manager was always available and responsive. It was great workmanship and they always went the extra mile to make sure the landscaping looked right. It was a ~4 week project for ~$55,000. I would highly recommend them and use them again!
