"They are efficient. They never not showed up and they always completed the job on time."

"Look...let's make this simple. If you live in the Stafford Virginia area, call Second Glance Lawn and Landscape first. Why - family business, honest pricing and superior results. Let's get back to the pricing. Second Glance soundly beat their competition and wasn't linked to a computerized / AI satellite neighborhood pricing model. The owner, Lou, came out, walked the ground, assesed the work for my acreage, explained the cost and we shook on the deal - no negotiations were required - because he a great owner and man. As a retired veteran, I recommend you stop scrolling and contact Lou from Second Glass immediately and get your landscaping done right the first. Tell 'em Danny recommended him and you may get a deal. Probably not, because I didn't tell him about any deal, but he'll probably laugh and give you one anyway. Always Forward!"

"As a long time customer, I've had Steve and his crew doing all my yard work projects for the past 20+ years. Steve is always easy to work with and gets all work done on time and at a reasonable price. You don't need to look any further. Steve and his guys can handle any yard project you give him. HIRE Steve and his guys for all your yard needs!"

"For a few years, Southland Services has mowed our next door neighbor's yard. This year we asked if they would start mowing our yard. They have been reliable and at reasonable rates. Recently we asked them to trim some cedar trees and top some crepe myrtle trees. Again done well and at a reasonable rate."

"I used them back in 2015 and was impressed with them. So I decided to use them again. I was quoted an hours worth of work. Then, when it came to the final bill, was charged for two hours worth of work, and this was with 2 men working the job. They were just replacing 3 pendant lights and 1 dining room light. So I was surprised and disappointed that it took that long. More importantly, one of the workers said something inappropriate to me. It made me feel very uncomfortable and afraid. So I called the owner to tell him what happened. He said he would speak to him. I felt like the owner could have taken me more seriously, been more sympathetic and apologetic about it. He made it sound like he was almost defending him. *** Update on this: The owner did speak with his crew member and said there was a misunderstanding of what he said and apologized for it. However, I know what I heard. Even to the end, it seemed like the owner was still defending him. Either way, I won't be using them again after my experience."

"Job was completed in a timely manor, very kind and curious"

"Very reasonable rates. The crew also took time to stack the wood from the downed trees and rake any debris that fell into the yard."

"The owner was great and got back to me in a timely manner. He fit me in which I believe may have cost a bit more to move up on his list but he was well worth it."

"responded quickly and come out on my schedule and completed the work quickly."

"Troy worked with us and our two neighbors to provide a good price for installation of a patio and sealing of two patios. We did not have to wait weeks or months for them to begin work and we have exactly what we asked for. We requested a stamped concrete patio that looked like brick, and it looks better than expected. Troy is very responsive to any requests or issues. We are very pleased with patio and the value for money."
