When we first showed him initial plans for the yard, he was honest about flaws in the design. We took his advice and re-designed the plan. We also followed his plan to properly deaden the previous yard. Eddie took the initiative to regrade the yard for low maintenance and sensible irrigation, while suggesting other details that would eliminate future problems. The fabulous work that Eddie and his crew performed became its own advertisement as onlookers were requesting his business card. We are very grateful for his excellent service and fortunate to obtain his business!"

"There are many landscapers that would be happy to come to your house for a major project. I was in need of a relatively small repair. I requested several quotes and all except one responded that they were not interested for one reason or another except Genaro at Landscaping Bay Area. He showed up on time and was extremely knowledgeable. He repaired my problem and was very courteous. While I had a small problem I can only imagine what he would be capable of accomplishing on a larger scale project. I would highly recommend this man and his company! PS I had no idea how to make these repairs myself. He never asked for any money. I gave him $120. and he said no and then handed me back $20. I wanted it to be as pleasant an experience for him as it was for me so I insisted. (I also didn't want to lose such a valuable resource.)"

Bob had a lot of great ideas to make the kennel and dog turf super secure, so our dog could not dig his way out or damage the area. So far two weeks post project, the kennel is holding up well with no damage to dog or kennel! The only thing that might have been better is communication about when work would be done and consistency of workers to complete the job, but they got us in promptly, and we are grateful for that."

I settled on California Exteriors and would confidently recommend to friends and clients or use them again myself because: 1) Total price was competitive (the low bidder was dubious at best) 2) They seemed best in tune with my requests and expectations and did not try to up-sell me or avoid difficult parts/ideas. 3) The timeline and work focus was important...they planned to get in and get out efficiently and not stretch the process out. I did not want the material and equipment sitting around for weeks irritating my wife and neighbors. 4) Heidi and Mark were very straightforward and honest. 5) The crew was kind and courteous with my family and neighbors as well as obviously experienced and skilled. Finally, the job went well and the end result was great. All on a budget!!! Pleasant experience with no surprises..."
