G&R stained the entire deck by hand (including the lattice work). Gave me a good price and stayed with that price. The deck was 35 years old, but you couldn't tell by looking at it now. He went above and beyond to work with us, especially since in digging they hit shale, which was a complete headache for them, and meant the job would take longer. Yes, it did mean that the job would cost more because you can't build a wall on shale, but Rob had thoroughly discussed with us ahead of time that you never know what you are going to find when you dig so we were definitely OK with having to deal with that.
