"What worked well: A mother/daughter team arrived as scheduled (rated an 'A') with a bucket, rags, step ladder and broom which they put to very good use. They worked efficiently (rated a 'B' for quality) and took instructions well although communication was conducted solely through the younger woman whom I presume was the daughter. I rated their responsiveness a 'B' as I had hoped they would take the initiative on tasks but seemed to look to me for that. As a result, I worked alongside the pair helping with tasks and providing real-time action items and comments. Despite their slightness, they relocated heavy boxes, moved bulky items, and were able to reach the tops of cabinets. Although we had contracted for a full three hours, I believe I used less than two hours as my expectations were met. If I were to do this again, I would have a more comprehensive list. At the end of the job, I felt real accomplishment for a task I had been deferring for a long time.
Area to improve: The business owner communicated very early in the process to schedule a workday and through oversight I did not close the loop. Hence when I did contact the owner, the workday was booked with another client so I offered alternate dates but did not hear back from the owner. When the owner called back after leaving several voicemails (rated a 'C' for professionalism), she told me that she would try for the original work day. As the workday approached and I did not receive confirmation, I called the owner who reminded me she was to call back only if there was a conflict. This was not made clear to me or I misunderstood. Nevertheless, we resolved our conflict. 
Nothing drives like a good deadline and in this case scheduling contractors to help with a task I dreaded, motivated me toward getting the job done. While the team worked quickly, it became clear that I needed to be present to provide direction which I didn't mind. That and using some of my power/electric tools could have accounted for the early completion. The pricing was excellent but I would have appreciated more professionalism in scheduling. I gave this contractor an overall rating of 'B' and I would recommend this service provider to customers looking to get that garage organized.

"The three women who came to do the work did a fantastic job. They were warm, professional, and fun to be around. They worked with attention and speed. It made my task of organizing rooms to have less clutter much easier. Giselle stayed afterwards and explained how she works and that the women who clean with her have been a team for five years. I was impressed with the quality of their expertise and the attention they brought to my needy house."

"Excellent experience (if moving can be the :) ). The guys were terrific, are a great team, courteous, polite and friendly making you feel very comfortable. They took great care in moving the furniture and boxes, it was performed flawlessly. They arrived on time (actually a little early which was nice). They even broke down a bunk bed for us at the apartment and rebuilt it at my new place...and broke down another bunk bed at my new place to move to storage. I would highly recommend Stevenson Relocation!"
