Because this was my daughter's home (and I house-sat) while they did their work, I felt guilty because each day they arrived early/on time and I arrived slightly tardy but they performed the work in a professional manner. In fact, I had no choice but to leave them alone (twice) to pick up other grandkids. When i left, they were working and when I returned they were STILL working. "The work was done to our satisfaction - very nicely, in fact.  The thing I didn't like was that the contractor postponed the work twice. 
The work took several hours and the area was neat and clean when it was done.
I was offered an upgrade to the "polymetric sand" for $90 but declined, as the paved area is totally below roof overhang and will therefore not be subject to much water.
