"First and foremost, Nick had very good follow up . Itâ s amazing how many companies we had a hard time getting them to call us back. Nick was quick to call and or text back. In the bidding process he was always in contact with us. We had him do pavement repairs on our parking lot, ( some large cut outs, and repaving was done ) then crack filling and last was seal coating and parking space stripes. The lot was 98,500 sq ft. They did the repairs and seal coating in two full days. He was in the middle of the bidding quotes. We tossed out all the cheap bids and tossed all the super high ones. His company Done-Rite was not the cheapest , but we wanted quality , and like anything ....... you get what you pay for ! We own other commercial properties and will let him bid those too when the time comes. Iâ ve waited a couple of weeks before writing this review to make sure weâ re happy with the results. & we are. "Rivera Concrete Paving's $8,500 bid became $11,000. Owner Magdiel Rivera adds charges after you're committed and doesn't follow through after payment. Cost increases: I mentioned roots upfront - he said equipment could handle it, then charged $450. Said grading unnecessary, then created false urgency claiming we HAD to grade before concrete. Later said could grade after. Added $1,800. Crew broke drainage pipes, charged me $250. Couldn't move AC condenser despite my asking during estimate. Payment tactics: Said pay "when satisfied." Then requested half early, then full payment before done. When I said work incomplete, he asked "Don't you trust me?" then broke promises. Broken promises: Walkway cured wrong, no follow-up. $1,800 grading included 3-month landscaping - no communication. Promised debris cleanup, later said not responsible. Damaged 4-month fence, couldn't repair properly, paid $300 after pressure. Dismisses costs at estimate, adds them later. Makes promises, then excuses."

"I had a decent sized driveway extension done. The communications were a little difficult, but courteous when contact was made. The driveway itself looks great except the transition from the new to the old which is elevated on the new leading to a tripping/rolling hazard."

"Rolando went out of his way to bring us several samples of pavers to choose from before our project started. His crew was very careful working around our plants when they buried the downspouts into to the yard. They also installed a French drain to solve an issue of standing water on the old sidewalk. Their craftsmanship while installing the pavers was excellent! They cleaned up the work site everyday so we were never looking at a need in our yard."
