"Done-Rite Paving worked very hard and quickly in hot weather. A few add-ons were addressed quickly and professionally. "Rivera Concrete Paving's $8,500 bid became $11,000. Owner Magdiel Rivera adds charges after you're committed and doesn't follow through after payment. Cost increases: I mentioned roots upfront - he said equipment could handle it, then charged $450. Said grading unnecessary, then created false urgency claiming we HAD to grade before concrete. Later said could grade after. Added $1,800. Crew broke drainage pipes, charged me $250. Couldn't move AC condenser despite my asking during estimate. Payment tactics: Said pay "when satisfied." Then requested half early, then full payment before done. When I said work incomplete, he asked "Don't you trust me?" then broke promises. Broken promises: Walkway cured wrong, no follow-up. $1,800 grading included 3-month landscaping - no communication. Promised debris cleanup, later said not responsible. Damaged 4-month fence, couldn't repair properly, paid $300 after pressure. Dismisses costs at estimate, adds them later. Makes promises, then excuses."

"After receiving several quotes through Angie's list, our townhouse association chose Montes Sealcoating. Their knowledge and experience was exactly what was needed to repair and seal coating our driveways and private street. Went end asking for we thought we needed. But after their recommendations, the board decided to increase our budget in order to get a bang for our bucks. Thank you Montes for advising so this project will stay off our radar for many years to come. I would recommend rather small or large projects, Montes Sealcoating got your back. "⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can’t recommend BJ Sealcoating enough! Brandon and his crew did an incredible job on our driveway, and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. Before the project started, I talked with Brandon about a few concerns I had, especially the height of our entry steps and some drainage issues around the driveway. He listened to everything I brought up and made sure those concerns were addressed. The way he pitched the driveway to direct water where it needs to go was spot on. The drainage has been vastly improved, and that was a huge deal for us. Brandon is the kind of guy who takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about doing the job right. He and his crew went above and beyond, paid attention to the little details, and didn’t just rush through the job to get to the next one. It’s hard to find good contractors you can trust these days, but Brandon and his team are the real deal. If you’re thinking about having your driveway done, do yourself a favor and give B"
