If that were true I would have had to abandon the septic system and hook into the city sewer at a cost of $40,000 plus. Davis dug up the line and found a root ball a few feet from the tank. He removed the root ball and replace a few feet of the field line back to the tank. Everything was done to code and passed inspection with no problem. Total cost was less than $1,500.
